3 Unanswered (as yet) Wembley questions

Out of curiosity and interest I think there are 3 questions referenced in other threads which I haven't seen definitive answers to but would be interested to learn:

1. Flags on seats (excellent)

 - who / how etc ? (were these club funded or part of the Wembley day - not clear as Orient appeared to have fewer (but may have been colours)

2. Big Flag pre Match (with Seb on it and a very nice touch)

- again who /how as its was impressive - I noticed Orient appeared to have 2 flags but smaller

3. Ticket Allocation from Wembley (likely for CAST to chase the club)

- how does this ever work so we might have been granted more? Was the tease of maybe more ever going to come to fruition - what needed to happen to give us more given Orient were never likely to sell out

    I assume the flags paid for by club

    Big flag would have been club, wembley, EFL and community trust (?). Leyton had two smaller flags on their side.

    Ticket allocation was done by Brent Council by the looks of things 😉

    Another to me unanswered question would be how much, if any, does CAFC get as a cut of our ticket sales?

    I would add into the above;

    4. why was that block on halfway opposite the royal box not sold? It had been sectioned off at both sides and the stewards were sat at the far end. I'm assuming that was probably the empty bit of both sides had sold out, but they didn't, so why not let us have it?

    5. What was that long line of four empty seats going all the way up the block about? Again, it looks as though that may have been kept for segregation purposes, but once we'd been given seats on either side then why weren't they sold?

    I noticed that as well (long line of empty seats going up) - very odd

    There's an article on the BBC website that says winning the playoffs is worth about 12 million pounds, not all from ticket sales, obviously.

    25% of all sales 

    at a rough guess 75k x on average £40 a ticket divided by 4 i’d say we got about 850k on ticket sales and that’s a low estimate. Plus the tv money whatever that was .

    I was patted down, come with the reputation after sofagate.

    Pyro is so small now, hardly bigger than a vape, that they are easily smuggled in.

    One thing I’ve never understood, although I enjoy viewing them, is who the hell takes a video of an opposition attack?  For example, if Leyton Orient had a free kick where Gillesphey’s was at our end, the last thing I’ll do is get my camera out to record it.  I remember thinking the same in the 2019 playoff final and Bauer’s winner as seen from their end.  Surely you’re on tenterhooks.  94 mins and we’re on the attack, oh, this feels like a perfect time to get my camera out

    Was at our entry point. My 75 year old mate in shorts and a tee shirt was searched, and we were not. WTF was that all about!

    I thought that the flags on the seats were going to be a pain in the backside, but to be fair I think they were fine and added something to the visual impact.

    7. Who was responsible for the double scanning issue, the club or Wembley? Was it present on Saturday? Is it being investigated? Why was nobody from the club or Wembley available to deal with victims? Its not as though the place was full. Not too difficult to request ID from people in seats, and most punters can prove payments on their phone.

    You're meant to take them off the seats before you sit down.

    So that's why that fella two seats down had a strange look on his face. 🤔

    So the back of the shot is lots of ecstatic fans rather than empty seats vacated by Orient. It's not for fans, the fans are part of the picture....

    I thought Orient had one big flag that seemed to split down the middle as the fans tried to tug it away from the stewards.

    Standing in seats. And I'm not just talking at the end. This was right from the start. Really don't agree with it and the stewards did next to f**k all from what I could see.
    Feel for any young kid or less able bodied fan that was unable to see anything thanks to the fat ar*e of the numpty in front. I'd ask for a refund.

    It’s almost as if there aren’t any professional photographers and cameramen around the stadium to do the work for us.

    I’ll never understand the mentality myself either it’s all about living in the moment.
