Bookies refusing to take bets on Steve Bruce as next Wednesday manager which is pretty telling.

Meanwhile the anti-south London special is a whopping 145-1 if anyone fancied a punt. Bit too much for my stomach to bare though to even consider...

Wycombe let me down for a 5 timer today, and I'm still trying to remember why I included them in my bet

Probably cos they were home to the worst team I have seen at The Valley this season

Chelsea tucked me right up... Derby drawing didn't help but could have probably got a half decent cash out if it weren't for Chelsea going behind.

Bloody Hell MK Dons are this weeks Aston villa. Treble up so made a profit, but had to cover my other bet where Oxfords 90+7 equaliser cost me a money back treble. Still didn't lose.

Charlton to finish above Barnsley, 13/8 on Skybet.

Barnsley 1/7 to finish top 6. Charlton to make top 6, 2/5.

Can someone explain the bookies support for Barnsley? Or is all based on previous achievements of relegated clubs and bookies are scared to take a hit on them.

I think it’s exactly that and how so many people were expecting Barnsley to be challenging for automatics. If we beat Barnsley on Saturday, I think those odds might change as we could potentially be as much as 10 points clear if results went in our favour.

    I am definitely a layer at 1/7!

Blimey that’s way too short, think someone forgot to update their prices over the past couple of months!

Got to like the look of the boys in pink (Dulwich) back at home today @ evens.
Will be a big turn out and hope it doesn't end in tears.
Tough one to call regarding Welling v Dartford.
Dartford have been making in roads towards the right end of the table, whereas Welling needed a fortunate 85th minute equaliser at ten man Hemel last time out (following two previous defeats).
Like BTTS for this one at 4/5, as I wouldn't like to choose a winner.
Concord have been doing well recently and look big at league whipping boys East Thurrock (6/5).

You have to remember that at the start of the season, Barnsley were 2nd favourites for the title behind Sunderland so perhaps some of it is expecting them to kick on in the second half of the season. They're only 8 points off Luton with a game in hand and play them next week.

Also don't they have chinese owners? Maybe they're expected to strengthen their squad in January, whereas we probably won't do much beyond a left back loan signing.
