I dont know you were closer than you think...

John Sullivan is a Goalkeeper for Portsmouth who used to play for Charlton
Someone who does play for Charlton now is Loic Nego who's many clubs include Ujpest...

Shame we have no home game this season was thinking of bringing my little boy along for the first time. Maybe 3 years old is too young anyway.

Portsmouth again. May I be the first this close-season to say: "Underwhelmed".

Nah, That's a good age. Just bring something else to occupy him though as 90 minutes of football (especially Charlton) is too much for the attention span of a youngster (and the odd adult as well!)

We want to cop a non-league ground on a good day out to an interesting seaside town: Whitstable, Herne Bay, Deal Town, Hastings United.

A weekend on the south coast in the sun, what more do you want?

Cracking day in Southsea last year before and after the game. Very sore head the next day (mainly from the booze, but also a little sunburnt as well).

Done Fratton Park, ticked it off. Need somewhere new. The south coast in the sun - how about Bognor Regis Town?

If you do go to Fratton Park, then you can do much worse than go to my home town...

Its got Spoons, classy Bars, all the usual eating joints, plus one of the best Curry's around - and you watch the Yachts going in and out too - all within walking distance of each other.
There are worse places to go thats for sure !
If you are intending to stay over (prob best if you are having a night out in PS) then this is walkable distance away....http://www.premierinn.com/en/hotel/PORPOR/portsmouth-port-solent?cmp=KNC_D_BND&mckv=svOAQ6DaQ_dc|pcrid|38373690099|kword|premier%20inn%20port%20solent|match|e|plid|

I don't think it has been for a while. Didn't Powell take the players to Spain pre-Welling in the last couple of years?

The welling game if on, might not be the first team what ever that turns out to be, but the developement squad as against Maidstone last year. It would then allow for a training camp if that is going to happen.

I thought the training camp was July 5th-10th? If the Welling game is on 12th I reckon they'll do a different xi each half with a mix of first (if we have any) and squad players.
