What planet do these people live on?

Where no protests means everything must be ok again?

    Glenn Moore really gets it.....

Within our little CAFC world, we are still at war with the Rat and The Liar, in the real world, because there are no protests, people think we are not and all is ok.
Spoke to some of my non Charlton mates at the weekend, they were under the impression that everything was Ok now because they had not heard off, or seen any protests.
    Thats the way it is.......!

I wonder what if any research Glenn Moore did to make such a bold statement?
His linkedin says that the is managing director of Moore Sports Media "Founder and managing director of specialist sports media company offering a range of bespoke services"

I think he has merely noticed a lack of pigs on the pitch. It is a positive that we now know Duchatelet wants to sell, but I still personally feel that he needs to be more realistic. The reason he wants to sell is clearly he has realised his great idea was a load of bo****ks - something we were telling him from the off!!!!! If I buy a new car and crash it into a wall, it has to be worth a lot less than when I bought it unless I fix it. When it really feels that he is desperate to sell, I think it could become a bit like Jiminez and Slater - we all reach a point where we want the same thing - for different reasons, but it is a bit pointless fighting when you want the same thing even if you don't love or even like each other.

But I don't think we are there yet. If we all feel he has lowered his price and is really trying to sell us, that will be when we align. Some will say he is doing that now, but I don't feel it. Maybe he realises that the club is worth more in the Championship and Robinson will get support in the January window. If we see that, that will be a positive development, but I would still go to Belgium to protest and support the ROT activity until these positive developments happen, or maybe more to the point, we see them happening.

A week after a political party is formed in Belgium to target to Duchatalet?

    Unbelievable Jeff.

BUT, no one knows outside CL world mate, dont get me wrong, I think its a cracking idea, but why has this not been mentioned on SSN or anything?

Because it’s Charlton......they only care about their Golden Calf teams in the Premier League.

See what you're saying mate, but the fact is that it happened.

It's Glenn's job to find out about such things before he releases anything because essentially what he's done is make that article up.

In cases of libel/defamation ignorance is not seen as a valid excuse - I don't see why it should be accepted here either.

Looked at that link but saw nothing concerning The Addicks?
I don’t subscribe to twitter and have no idea how to find posts to him or his replies......I assume there are some?

The fact is that a truce has not broken out but merely put on hold while the team was performing ok.
Also a takeover is potentially happening.

Should the takeover fall through and should the team start dropping down the league let's see where we are then regarding a truce.

    Glenn Moore-on.

That tweet is also bollocks though - "which has obviously helped players".

I responded with "Unfortunately, just as you made up the truce, the assertion that the lack of protests is helping the players is also made up. The players came out time and time again on record and said it didn't bother them."

Not only this but didn't we have a pretty good results record when demonstrations took place?

No disrespect to any freelance workers on here, but freelancers in certain industries are freelancers because no one will give them full time employment due to lack of skills/quality.

Journalism is one of these industries.

We can tell why our friend Glenn is a freelancer!
