These started cropping up in the zoo i work at. Suddenly the kids started bringing them to lessons as "help with stress". So i got one myself. It is surprisingly comforting, not that i spend endless hours of course.

I thought you shifted the trolleys at ASDA.... Oh, I see...
Don't worry about it, nurse will change your pads in... let's see, six hours?

    Tried one today.
Was alright, but not as good as a fidget cube (far from).

My daughter's having one delivered today. The craze has even made Thailand.

    Probably made there.

We have about 1000 kids at the school I teach at and only one of them has a condition which means that he is allowed a fidget spinner in lessons. The craze really took off about two weeks ago and because our school hasn't banned them, the teachers are wasting time telling the kids to put them away. One we've done that and confiscated phones and handed out pens to the kids who can't be bothered to bring one to school and then we've made sure that the title, date and learning objectives are written down and underlined, it's time to pack away.

Let them have them I say...
    Stress toys help focus.
