I actually don't disagree with you in regards that Poyet was very poor, he has certainly appeared to regress as a footballer since leaving us.

Much as I hate to type these words, Colin has a point in that Poyet's views on Riga are going to be some score settling given how he was dropped like a hot potato once Jose was brought back. As a rule, active players try not to shit on managers as you never know when you will cross swords with them again, but in this case Poyet can be fairly sure that Riga's time in English football is all but over.2

Have to agree with this. Last season he just didn't seem to want to get involved and sadly he made himself a bit un-selectable. Rather than sit at the base of a three-man midfield, he needs to find himself a club that plays 4-4-2 so that he's obliged to do a bit of running instead of a bit of side to side shuffling. Interesting thoughts by Diego, but I do agree with Colin to an extent, that players opinions after leaving a club do have to read with caution. Coquelin, for example will have nothing but praise for his loan spell with us, as it transformed his Arsenal career.
Players will always praise the manager who picks them every week, and diss the manager who never picks them, that's the nature of football.4 -
