Just switched on the TV and they are showing the 1st Semi Final live. 10 songs from 18 qualify for the final in Sweden on Saturday.

I hate Eurovision (gonna watch it though)

    Totally agree and just changed the title of this thread to something more appropriate.

    The quality of the songs this year seems even worse than usual (if that is even possible!)

    Used to love Eurovision but the last couple of years has been piss poor. The other country's seem to be taking it too seriously or possibly not serious enough.
