I hope he leaves his manbag in the dressing room, he might take Henderson's eye out at a corner.

    Finally on the OS

I look forward to hearing from him. I've got a suspicion Bauer will be good with the media.

    Is he any good?

No he's rubbish, but being German, he takes a mean Penalty

Charlton have completed the signing of Patrick Bauer from C.S. Maritimo for an undisclosed fee
The club handbook "transfer fee" section is becoming very dull!

    On the OS now.

    Encouraging quote from Katrien Meire:

Charlton CEO Katrien Meire added: “We understand that after reluctantly losing one of our young academy talents, the fans expect us to invest back into the team.

“We made bringing Patrick to The Valley one of our priorities as soon as the window opened and after some lengthy negotiations, we’re delighted to get our first signing over the line.

“I expect him to be the first of many new faces this summer as we look to build for the future.”

I thought it wasn't open yet?

Is he our first German player ?

Bauer, who arrives in SE7 for an undisclosed fee, has represented his country at U17, U18 and U20 level and is set to become only the second German to ever play for the club, following defender Dietmar Bruck, who represented Charlton between 1970 and 1972.

Is he our first German player ?

No, as said on OS Dietmar Bruick (sp) early 70s.

But it could be argued that he was born in Poland, the free city of Danzig or the third reich

He moved to England as a child as well.
