Be amazed if Hoddle replaces Powell, but if Duchatelet has a plan then the recruitment of a Football Director/Supremo of some kind, to oversee player recruitment and development at his network of Clubs and to act as his confidant would be a very logical move.
Wouldn't fancy Hoddle much for that job either. If Duchatelet announces he's hired Johan Cruyff, however, then the world really would sit up and take notice!! We can all dream I guess.

Personally I hope CP is given the chance to do his job without some of the handicaps he has faced recently. A director of football is simply not something we would ever need.1
