Not enjoying the 2nd series of The Last of Us anywhere near as much as the 1st.
There's parts I like (usually bits with the zombies), but I'm just not invested in the characters very much. Dina's a good actress but I just can't get on board with this season as much.
They will need to stretch it out, I thought they did a really good job with the first game and the first season. This one will need several seasons if they are going to stay true to the source material and there is no reason why they wouldn't given how strong it is.
The Abby stuff is worth a season on its own. I sound like I'm picking on her but I think they have got the casting really wrong with Bella Ramsay as Ellie. She is a good actor and I lover her in game of thrones but I cannot see her as Ellie.

I think they've taken the attitude too far with her on the show. Game Ellie is stubborn, show Ellie is just a brat. Also doesn't help that she always looks like she's struggling to take a shit.
My missus was trying to describe Bella Ramsey to me, before we'd started watching TLOU (I hadn't seen Game of Thrones, so she was new to me). She settled on "she's got a face and body like a jelly baby". Now I've seen exactly what she meant. Uncanny.
Edit: Managed to get TLOU wrong first time. F'ks sake.
Completely agree. Just been catching up on this thread and somewhat surprised at the fairly lukewarm comments about Andor. For me, it is hands down the best Star Wars since (funny enough) Rogue One. And Rogue One was, IMO, the best Star Wars since Empire. It's not just good Star Wars though, it's good drama. No Jedi/Sith, no lightsabers, no big space battles, a lot of location filming, practical sets and effects etc. Everything about it is so carefully crafted, almost entirely story and character driven and it looks amazing. I loved it.
Have binged Andor over the last couple of weeks, and just seen the final episode.
Agree with the comments above, that's Star Wars... and that is going to be very tough for Star Wars to beat
They'll no doubt try, they'll no doubt fail drastically. Its also a very good example of there being nothing wrong with strong female leads (Bix, Dedra, Maarva, Kleya, Val, Mothma were all excellent). Like everything else, it just needs good writing to go with it!!
