  • Unfortunately lots of sirens around my way (New Eltham) now at the moment and what seems to be a police helicopter hovering in the Eltham area.
I've heard a lot of sirens here in Eltham in the past 15 minutes, sounds like something might be going on.

Christ, when is this shit going to stop? I hope someone is guarding the Olympic stadium, as 2012 could end up being a non-starter if they decide to torch it.  I can't bear to even think about how vulnerable the Valley is as well....

The effects of all this destruction during a recession don't bear thinking about...much of this won't be rebuilt for a long, long time and parts of London are going to look very shit for a long time to come....also, many businesses won't want to rebuild, but will simply move out.

Christ, I hope someone makes these scum pay for what they have done.
  • OWH, sorry, posts must of overlapped: Apparently "Penge Police Station was "attacked" and a "small fire put out" ".
Saw OB cars and vans in the backyard last week....anyway..........

Just walked home after footy training through clapham junction wearing bright yellow shirt, red socks and shorts. Reminded me of the family guy episode where peter goes to war dressed as a clown.

Just done a call (not related to all this shit)  in Orpington and it was empty, but driving back to my area, I passed a few Police cars heading towards Orpinton and then got a phone call saying that the retail park at St mary Cray was being attacked, but thats not confirmed.

Welling was a false alarm too.

  • On the back of the rioting in Woolwich. Apparently the pound shop re-registered their business as a two pound shop as of yesterday.

This is appalling I really feel for any of u who are directly affected by this, don't fight amongst yourselves on here , get your self safe look after your families

This will cone to a head and unfortunately it will be the normal man who will just stand strong and fight back these scum think they are untouchable, they are at the minute but I know from where I am living there is big talk amongst local residents that if they start to come back round here and they could well do that people will take to these streets and fight back

I wish you all a safe night,

Palmer green and southgate are reportedly having a few issues now and all the ob are in hackney,

The one thing these c **ts are

Scum and need to be treated like it

Looks like TV news blackout, as everything being shown is old footage and nothing 'live'. Pissing down in north London now, so hopefully may put a stop to things.

Ken Livingston just been slapped down by 2 black fella's on Newsnight...........Red Ken started off by saying that things would be worse if he hadn't put an extra 7,000 bobbies on the street when he was Mayor.........and they told him that its got nothing to do with Politics

Other countries would not have put up with this!! The army (in USA The National guard) would have been called out.....what started as a grievance about the shooting (rightly or wrongly) has been hijacked by opportunists and thieves. KL has just called for water-cannon to be deployed....amazed at that...but better late than never I suppose.

I have to agree a curfew is needed.....that may just piss off normal law abiding citizens to say...."right this has now screwed my freedom....so time we took control and took these scrotes off the streets"

Sorry if this offends anyone....but my town of birth, my city is being destroyed by people who have no self respect, no morals, no heart!! I despise every single one of them....irrespective of age, sex or colour!!  Tonight is a sad night.....but we survived the blitz...we will survive this!!

Driven to and from Bromley common, by the bus garage, during the last hour and three quarters (spent some time reading this since I've been in). Went via Mottingham and Chislehurst and magpie hall lane. Saw nothing at all, got two of the three lads home to Lee. Havn't been down quite as far as Lee green Sainsburys and Wetherspoons, but the small pawn shop in Manor Lane (nearish the |Manor Cafe) had one smashed window, but the grill behind it protected the property inside, didn't see anybody around. A bin pushed over neat Lee station, and some rubbish around on the road...thats all I've seen.

However the lad I left to sleep over lives next to the pawn shop, and his mum and sister have decamped to friends because they're pretty frightened. Is it really true about Lee sainsburys etc, we need to distinguish fact from rumour here....the pawn shop is essentially a broken window, nothing like Croydon Tottenham or Peckham.

Hope innocent people caught up in the middle of this utter crap stay safe. We are all going to have to stand up for the society we want in this country.
    Terrible stuff going on.

2248: Reports from Dalston that Turkish shopkeepers are fighting back
against the riot gangs. Could people power be succeeding where the
    police have so far failed?

GH - be safe fella. Hope nothing happens to you. I had a row with a little c*** standing around outside my neighbour's car. Bit of a standoff but he just laughed and ran off picking a brick up as he ran.
