Said exacty the same thing to a colleague today. Difference is my old dear would have battered me had i not come home on time.

Severe lack of parenting....any half decent parent would surely be keeping their kids in or at least know exactly what they are up to this week.

    Feral.

  • Can the OB not use tazers? Quite amusing watching all "de soljaz" break dancing and lighting up the streets of London.
  • Bring in the dogs! I just hope people don't get trapped in their homes with all these fires. I daren't think about the possibility of new borns, disabled and elderly folk stuck somewhere.

  • PLEASE READ

Whatever your views, for the last few days this has been a fascinating thread accounting for the depressing but very real scenes being played out throughout London. The tone has changed of late and this post is to back up WSS's posts of earlier.

Please keep the race angle out of it. Have your own views, and post them whether else on the internet, twitter, facebook whatever. But keep that angle away from this thread and away from this site for now and allow this thread to continue.

No snidey, sarky insinuations, no tit-for-tat. Lets just keep this an informative thread of the actions of this scum.

Those who don't abide by that clear rule risk temporary / permanent exclusion from the site. And i can't state more clearly that it is something we really don't want to have to do.

    Thank You

  • only needed a wall and a ball to keep me happy for hours on end.
  • Can I just ask why all the media is so focused on Hackney in the aftermath, when there is major unrest in Lewisham, Peckham and the rest of SE London right now? Is south of the river not trendy enough?

Journalists probably stuck in the North London kettles?
  • Apparently it was the scrapping of EMA that caused it, silly me

Hackney/Islington is the favorite haunt for the media dahlings
  • Let's have some sense on here please!

Yes the majority of rioters are black it would appear but equally the majority of black people in this country are as appalled as everybody else.

It is the political classes who have created this problem by relinquishing control over our borders also the police treat decent people with contempt as football fans travelling away know all too well. This "spontaneous" action all over London is being orchestrated somehow and there are lot of innocent victims.

Direct your fire where it should be directed namely the politicians of all parties who treat the views of ordinary people with absolute contempt.politicians

politicians? .. i dont see many MPs rioting and looting, mind you they do have more scope to make money through the expenses and the memoirs .. the thing is.. THE PROBLEM IS YEARS OLD AND WILL NOT BE RESOLVED PEACEFULLY .. APPEASEMENT AND RECONCILIATION WILL NOT WORK .. Ask Mr Chamberlain .. if you remember who he is.

I'm no PC zealot as any regular poster on this board will know but I am uncomfortable with some of the racist undercurrents on this thread and I speak as one who thinks that criminals are criminals regardless of colour anf if apprehended then often the key should be thrown away.

However the majority of black people will be just as appalled as we are by these actions and that has not been reflected in this thread in my opinion.

If you see that as appeasement then fine. I see it as not throwing the baby out with the bath water.

    THIS IS SPOT ON

    GANGStA CULTURE and ShOITE PARENTING

No working class people are involved, black or white, lazy arse scum who are bored and trying to loot to make a few quid.

Amazing how everybody on news gas top of the range clothes but on the street during working hours. How do they get their money? Drugs, burglary and mugging people that's how.

If it does go off in Charlton well probably get 20 seconds on the highlights par the course ;-)
  • edited August 2011

Shops on Catford giratory getting done over. Bromley Road full of kids on Mopeds, mate just drove past 2 vans pulled over, full of what he described as "gypsies" tooling up with gloves and scarves on their way to join in with the fun.

    Sickening

  • time to get the army involved

...and then they'll say the rioting took place in East London.
  • Get the army in - with live bullets and some tanks...that will sort the f*&ckers out...

I cant believe people in this day and age, in a society such as ours, would do such things...boggles my mind
  • So far as I can make out, no-one's said a word about Croydon, but I can tell you now, with absolute accuracy - it is a total f***ing warzone out there. People are being dragged out of cars, cars are crashed into each other and abandoned, shops are being annihilated and there are gangs of feral youths roaming the streets outside my house as I type. And no - this is NOT a joke about it being a 'normal' night in Croydon - I'm deadly serious. The whole of London Road from my road up to West Croydon has been closed off, and the gavvers look like they're trying to protect Croydon town centre from being done over.

First c*** tries to get in my house gets his fucking head taken clean off.
