If it was Millwall or Palace, surely Richard Cawley would have got a clue by now. Though he said it was Posh, so it seems nobody knows.

Just hoping it is us and it is kept under wraps until it is revealed (but still think two CBs are a priority)

Medicals used to be something that happened almost as an afterthought. However times change. it wouldn't at all surprise me if this is something that is checked routinely along the way. Could well have had medicals at Posh bristol City and us while he is weighing up the options. I remember a comment about a month ago of racon having had a medical at Scumwall about a month ago. be interested to know if this is the case if anybody knows

I think they could be possibly saving up signing news to soften the blow when Semedo signs for Wednesday.

It seemed that was what happened with Racon.

Quite possible and to be honest I'd have no problem with his departure if we bring in some of the recent names mentioned.

I think the only way Charlton could get away with not keeping hold of Semedo would be getting a player of the same standing such as Green, so it would make perfect sense.

Yep otherwise we'd get too downbeat and apathetic.

And if we lose Semedo and only pay Green or A.N Other half the amount in wages then we are saving over £150k per annum before any transfer fee.

I've just read the Into The Valley Forum and Reams does seem to have the 'inside track' on this. It also ties in with the piece I saw on Twitter yesterday (which I copied and put on the rumours thread) that he (Green) was having a medical yesterday.
I dont know whats true and it may be that two different people are 'aving a larff', but I'm beginning to think that somewhere between £400k and £500k will bring Green and Vincelot to the Valley and that there must be some 'legs' in this story.

If, as has been reported, he is having/had a medical then would he have done all that to turn us down and go to Posh today?
The thing is, when you name about 20 different players a week we "must" sign then it's the law of averages that some of them will come off some of the time - there's only a certain number of people in the pool we can afford anyway.

Seems a lot of money but his stats are good. I'm in the minority in rating Wagstaff but if Green is a better player then bring him in. As Golfie said he didn't shine in three games v us last year but Daggers are a team of workers. And he can score from a Free Kick. When was the last time we had that?

Apparently Green is away on holiday, so maybe that quashes the seen at the Valley rumours?
