    Maybe we could take advantage like we did vs BWP.

    Also isn't there some rule over teams in financial crisis can sell outside the transfer window if needed? We sold Shelvey before the play offs.

    We can loan now and agree a sale in the summer. Either way he can play for us straight away.

    Lets hope a deal can be done before 12 o/c tomorrow...I think we definitely need a new face in midfield...

    We've been after a loan or 2 for a few weeks so like Henry says I'm surprised nothing has been done yet.

    Maybe it's just League One Charlton aren't really that attractive anymore...

    You can "sell" a player whenever you like regardless of whether anyone considers you to be in financial crisis. It's just the player can't represent a new club until the window re-opens. Shelvey was never eligible to play for Liverpool during last season. Loan would be the only way (for a team outside of the top league) to get a player in at this stage (except free agents).

    If he is the little dark haired fella that played up front I'd be hugely surprised. He was lightning fast and looked good.

    Missed a 1v1 late on I recall but I seem to remember him playing up front and charging at Franny direct from the kickoff and I immediately said "They're up for this and he is their outlet ball"

    IF it's him I was very impressed with him

    Just looked on their website and I think it is him. He's a midfielder but played up top against us. Would be excellent so I'd rate our chances of gettign him at about 0.3%
