Just watching Premiership years 2005/06 and at the end of his last game he says "I just think this club needs a change of direction and I hope it works out."

Certainly did, Alan, certainly did.

    just watched that myself. curbs welling up. remember feeling somewhat tearful myself walking out of the ground after that speech.

    at least we had those times!

    p*ss off churley. it's only such depressing times for us because we have had such contrasting highs. highs which you will never get near. and the fact that you don't consider these depressing times for palace given the last season (when you had a lower average attendance than us despite being in a higher division and near the play off places for half of the season) shows what pitiful expectations you have. Staying in business, and that's all you'll ever do.
