    Cant remember which book it was in Curbs or Hartson, but I'm sure there was a comment along the lines of "charlton tried to restructure the deal as something showed up in a medical, a compromise couldnt be reached and the deal fell through"

    yes, millwall tried to get us to sign the papers before the medical as they knew he was a crock which may have been why the story of him failing the medical leaked.
