Head of Sports Science?...are we NW Kent College now then!

I hope this is either a voluntary role or just fancy name for head physio.

This is where a thread view count would be interesting!

Nick Davies replacement, most likely on less money and Parky will know about him as it says he's worked at Hull and Colchester.

if he is head physio then fair enough, if not then why are we filling these type of job vacancies?...sounds like an uneccessary premiership type staff role.

More like a fitness coach than physio.

He takes the warmups before matches and works closely with the players, in essence. Works on the physical side of the game.

More useful than Tim Breacker. What the fudge is he doing?

Hmmmm, if we are cutting costs surely this is a role we could do without. Any reason why Breaker, Kinsella or even Parkinson cant work on fitness?

Bet all those under threat of redunduncy are pleased to see this sort position being filled.

Perhaps, but when the season starts and loads of our players start picking up muscle injuries & we end up playing a load of kids and are looking at the wrong end of the table, everyone would be saying, that we haven't got a fitness coach and we don't know what we're doing.

Did we have anyone fulfilling this role before Nick Davies? I genuinely don't know. Still think it is. Luxury we can do without. Professional sportsmen should be able to manage their fitness and diet imo.

Niall Clark was "Performance Manager", a similar role I think, before Davies.

I'm sure we did but don't know the name.

I don't agree with you that professional sportsmen should be able to manage their own fitness and diet. Blimey Robbie & others would probably balloon if left to their own devices. A lot of them might be permanently pissed & overweight. We'd have a team with arses the size of Jimmy Floyd Moneybanks.

    What's that based on?

Funny how Breacker does nothing, but no one would dare say that about Kinsella...!
