Can we opt out of all cup comps and concentrate on the league?

used to love away games in Shrewsbury, plenty of pubs in the town a short walk and always a good atmosphere there.

huge yellow ladder in the car park
  • Shrews fan here...

Not the best draw for you, but at least it gives you a decent chance of making the next round.

Stadium is in the middle of nowhere, hard to create an atmosphere for the home fans due gaps in the corners. Away fans can create an atmosphere though, Accrington made lots of noise last season.

If you come, enjoy your day!

    Good luck for this season..

My in laws live in Shrewsbury only a few minutes from the old ground. I hope to make the trip north and then along the M54 to the game.

Plus Shrew should be happy with the draw!

Hope to make this one, pleased it is a new ground albeit by the look of things yet another generic new meccano stadium.

We'll all book our tickets, buy our train tickets ......... and then 10 days before the game, it'll be announced as Live on Sky.

I think they think of it as Midlands mate. But i do agree with you Midlands is not the South. Its like Northampton the clues in the name there.

Well, Nathan ........ it's south of north, and west of East.
And only 7 miles from the Welsh border - unless you've had a curry, when it's 9 miles.
