For me it had to be 'Dune'. Much too long and basically crap.

I couldn't leave the cinema as I was taken by the film's insurers to a special showing in the West End and was there with practically the whole cast and crew, including Sting and Sian Phillips.

Jim Carrey has been much maligned on here but another film of his worth a look is Man On The Moon.

[quote][cite]Posted By: Carter[/cite]The Hangover is up there for how much it was hyped and how fookin awful it was
I walked out of sex lives of the potato men too, Jonny Vegas was queuing to get get tossed off by a man at that point I think
Avatar blew my balls of how good it looked but the story was toilet
The last terminator film was a let down too[/quote]

Def agree with Hangover comment, think you have to be under 15 to enjoy it, also hated Avatar, effects do not make up for crap script
  • "Blind Rage," starring Fred "The Hammer" Williamson.
It is about a group of blind bank robbers that get past all of the high tech security and break into the vault, but on their get-away, are unable to negotiate the front steps of the bank building.
    I kid you not.
And it is not a comedy.
    Absolutely amazing.

Che Part 2, I though the first one was bad enough but went along to the second one to keep the other half happy, pile of old rubbish.

The last Resident Evil film was basically a long, computer animated cut scene. Unbelievable. The last X Files film is probably the worst thing I've seen that had a cinema release.

[cite]Posted By: RodneyCharltonTrotta[/cite]Green St 2. First one was abysmal too but not in the same depths of pure, unadulterated horse shite as it's sequal.

Oh right enough, that was probably the worst film ever made.

i dissagree with the matrix comment although the sequals were pants.

Funny People. The best part was when Adam Sandler was diagnosed with cancer.

Lately - 2012. Everything that is wrong with Hollywood. Zillions spent on special effects. £4.25 spent on the script.

Everything about it was bad from the concept, the acting and the setting to the fact it was meant to be a serious flick rather than a poor parody.

Managed about 25 minutes before I switched it off wanting to put my head through the screen.

    Shocking film.

Crash was utter garbage - Hollywood trying to be all clever IMO. Absolutely hated it

most if not all Adam Sandler films are shite too as were Royal Tenenbaums, Step Brothers and the men who stare at goats

Wrong Turn. Dad suggested I watch it and that it was unmissable. The evil grin on his face stating that you have to watch the bad to appreciate the good when it had finished an hour and half later. Revenge was sweet.

The Exorcist - Absolutely pathetic. I would personally watch this film alone, on Halloween in a graveyard. It is so unscary and laughable. The Wicker Man comes close.
Moving away from Horror, the worst film has to be Gosford Park - Great director, great cast but 2 hours of complete tosh!

The Exorcist is quality, and has for most of its existence never been treated as a true horror film. It is much more appreciated as an example of weird imagination and entertainment.

p.s Swisdom- I respectfully disagree about Crash... I honestly think its worth another watch, theres some really resonating messages in there that I think can be grasped by even the most close-minded of viewers.

That film actually made me want to self harm.

Why after watching the first one would you watch the second as well?! Elijah Wood has to be one of the most astonishingly inept pieces of casting I've ever seen

Dogville. Dogs**t. Nicole Kidman has been in more than her fair share of dreadful films.

Of the blockbusters, 2012 may be the worst of a very bad lot but based on the size of the gap between reputation and reality, it's a battle between Titanic and Avatar.

Artificial Intelligence - can't believe it got commissioned, just awful.

9 Songs - a crap porn film dressed up as art. Dismal story, hateful characters. My ex made us go and see it, I was so angry at what I was witnessing that after about half an hour I started loudly reading my paper in the middle of the cinema. God, it makes my blood boil just thinking about it.

Love Hurts - starring Richard E. Grant, who will surely hang his head in shame if he ever has the misfortune of seeing this cinematic turd. Proof, if any were needed, that the big stars will do any film going if the money's right. Absolute dross.

Anything by David Lynch - films like Mulholland Drive are gushed about by people who are desperate to impress others by attempting to appear intellectual, but I defy you to watch that and not want two hours of your life back. Pretentious drivel.
