You forgot the bit about how you led the team to two promotions and a national cup at The Valley.RonnieMoore said:
lol lol … nicest thing any one ever said but really can’t remember that brief encounter if it happened ?? My job history to present day and the qualifications I have received ( surprised myself how clever i am lol ) would suggest otherwise … you don’t work in banking for 22 years , Financial crime , Lead raids on businesses and houses work in Forensics and manager teams up to 30 staff …. and even now back into investigations with you don’t have something about you ..Bedsaddick said:

I would like to make a nice comment about you, Ronnie. Your English has improved dramatically since Friday.RonnieMoore said:

I had a dream that we signed Kieffer Moore from Wrexham. But he did all the promo still in his Wrexham kit, and was clearly not happy to have been sold to us.

We have our very own Walter Mitty.RonnieMoore said:

More realistic than you think. They sold Ollie Palmer to Swindon and he kept going back to North Wales and really annoyed the Swindon fans for itFishCostaFortune said:I had a dream that we signed Kieffer Moore from Wrexham. This post begs the question why you post in an illiterate and contrary style then if you’re not a WUM?RonnieMoore said:

Please god, can we just be linked with a player - anybody……even Lyle Taylor!4

Don’t think we need to keep Kanu and mbick and I think mbick looks more promising - then again remember thinking that about burstow and he looks pretty average now …0
-
Totally different players though... I think we should try to keep both. They could be our front line for years going forward. They are 19 and 21. Semenyo was on loan in league 1 at 20 at got no goals in 7 appearancesNeil01 said:Don’t think we need to keep Kanu and mbick and I think mbick looks more promising - then again remember thinking that about burstow and he looks pretty average now …5 -
Funny you should say that..😉Brownie12 said:Please god, can we just be linked with a player - anybody……even Lyle Taylor!0 -

I don’t think there’s such a thing as dyslexia when it suits someone.
Anyway, dyslexia doesn’t as far as I know make someone a deliberate contrarian.12 -
Not if the other job is already paying you. I suppose it depends on when the other contract actually starts.Alwaysneil said:Dont know why that would be the case. If i sign a contract for a new job, and the current employer makes me work my notice period when i resign, i still get paid0 -
Ages ago, Liverpool signed Heskey outside the window before the season had finished. I can’t believe Leicester carried on paying him.Crispywood said:
If you sign someone for a transfer fee before the window opens you start paying them the day the transfer window opens when they can first move to your club.AddicksAddict said:
Surely once you’ve signed for another club, your old one stops paying you?killerandflash said:

I think we’re still way too early to be expecting much to happen. Players are still away or just returning from holidays and so are managers and coaches. Players are under contract until 30th June I think so even those released or out of contract will be getting paid until then. Why sign someone and pay them 10k per week before you need to even if negotiating is taking place. Not saying we might not see something happen but I think the bulk of the transfers will take place in July earliest.Charlton43 said:Surely there will be some movement next week
I agree that it's still very early, but a few transfers have happened and been announced already, even if wages aren't paid by the new club until the 1st July. Andy Robertson being the most notable. If you sign someone on a free due to an expiring deal they’re still the property of the other team until their contract expires and that’s when the new club starts paying him because that’s the first available date they can change clubs .0 -

If i sign a contract for a new job, and the current employer makes me work my notice period when i resign, i still get paidIf we're talking about players who's contracts are coming to an end, the new contract will start on 1st July, the day after the expiration of the player's existing contract with their current side.A more everyday, non-footballing example would be teaching contracts at the start of a school year, which work in a broadly similar way.0 -
Surely the players are payed monthly, so if he is paid at the beginning of the month then signs for another club before the month ends he cannot be paid by the new club until the beginning of the next month1

JRS on Facebook 👀15 -
Two windows in a row people have been duped by a fake JRS account!19

Yeah I can't see JRS being a genuine target for us at all. Not even just the fee, I don't see where he fits in.
I do think he leaves Palace this summer permanently though.1 -
Met a Stoke season ticket on holiday of 50 years, he said JRS is up there with the worst. Lazy etc0
-
Even with us you could tell he was timid and didn’t have much of an engine on him. Good footballer terrible athlete so Jones will run in the complete opposite direction even if there was a possibility we could sign himrobroy said:Met a Stoke season ticket on holiday of 50 years, he said JRS is up there with the worst. Somehow reckon the same guy would see TC as lazy too 🤔robroy said:Met a Stoke season ticket on holiday of 50 years, he said JRS is up there with the worst. Lazy etc10 -

Why am I being dragged into all this ???Danny Addick said:
Honestly, I post this every time but it shocks me that his silliness takes pelters but Golfie gets away with being an utterly vile drain on everyone and a troll to boot. I guess it’s because Ronnie is faceless - it’s much easier when someone clearly has needs and you won’t ever meet them than to call out someone who you might see at a game.jose said:Ronnie Moore might well post things that are regarded as rubbish, I certainly post rubbish as well, and I suspect so does everybody else.
I believe his post above about his Charlton Athletic supporting background, and it is a tale not dissimilar to the experience of many Charlton Athletic supporters.
I suppose free speech maybe justifies the bullying and pile-on that Ronnie gets from some people, but by the same token free speech justifies Ronnie’s posts.
One thing I have noticed about Ronnie's posts is that he never personalises or attacks individuals on Charlton Life, yet he is attacked personally.
I could sense a kind of reluctance in the long post Ronnie has made about his relationship with the club, it’s as if it was forced out of him in order to establish his credibility as a fan, something that is not forced out of the rest of us who are free to disclose stuff as and when we want, or when it feels appropriate.
As far as I am aware I don't know either you or Ronnie. And as I refrain from making personal digs at people I would like you to do the same.20
