Am I correct in thinking only way to get there via train is 49 mins on met line from Farringdon
Yes, but the vast majority of Watford bound Metropolitan Line trains start/finish their journeys at Baker Street.

Change at Baker Street for a tube to Watford. All other ways by train from Euston are cancelled due to engineering works

You need to get on the Met from Baker Street, or change there or at Harrow, as there are no Watford tubes from Farringdon, there are no National Rail services out of Euston this weekend

Surely the tepid 2-0 defeat will make up for it?

It’s less than an hour from London Bridge or Waterloo mate. Jubilee to Baker St or Finchley Rd, Met to Watford. Or from Charing X get Bakerloo to Baker St.

Beer at either start middle or end of Journey!

The 2nd post on this thread, by me, mentioned the engineering works, also i posted a separate thread on 6th March warning people of the disruption to the Watford trip.

Additionally 3 are available for sale right now via the official site.

@franksav63 - you possibly just have time today to refund on yours via the ticket office if no takers

I’d have grabbed the next ones available on here   I tried the ticket website for days and all it said that was available were two disabled tickets .
Worst case scenario would be watching on Sky but I’d have been gutted considering I only live 40 minutes away from Watford.

There's been about 3-5 pop up yesterday and then today on the site strange it's not showing for you.

Anyone got advice on parking.  Was considering parking in the shopping centre (15 mins walk according to googlemaps) as wife will be with us but not attending the game. Any better options?

The Harlequin shopping centre car park is a good call.

It's yellow lines and residents parking all around the ground and for the sake of a few quid probably not worth going a lot further afield.

Will single yellows count on bank holiday though? Might be simpler options, but I am likely into the Harlequins

On match days, the council introduces all sorts of parking restrictions in the vicinity of the ground.

You could try the roads around, and off, Riverside Road but honestly parking in Watford is very difficult and the Harlequin is not that expensive - about a pound an hour - and will save you a lot of heartache looking for a space.

Lots of shopping at parks in the city centre that are less than 10 mins walk from the ground. Easy peasy. I use the one on Rosslyn Rd
