Tee Shirts

was hoping to get advice on where and what tee shirts you go for. It’s such a hard job to buy tee shirts that look good and stay that way longer than a few washes. I’m in the market for some for the summer and would welcome your choices and why. Over to you.

    Timberland have always been decent.

If you're interested I can bring some Hugo Boss and Lacoste at £10 each.

I'll be in the UK next month to save on the postage.

For polo t shirts you will never be let down by Fred Perry even if the slippery bastards get a lot of their stuff made in China now

Lactose do beautifully fitted plain t shirts as do Aquascutum but size up with both of them

For cheaper ones steer clear of fast fashion places like Primark and go straight to M&S, try one of their cotton plain t shirts on, look in the mirror and say in your head "that looks snazzy" and behold the quality of the garment

I've been buying True Classic lately, they're expensive if you buy individually but do some good deals if you bulk buy for example I got 10 for £110 recently.

When you go and see a band, buy a t-shirt or two. Quality is almost always decent and the profit is helping keep live music venues and bands going.

I like their range of oversize, longer sleeve T shirts. The quality and maintaining of colour is pretty good even almost two years along from when I first bought a batch of them and the white ones still look pristine white. If you drop down the sizes from what would be your normal fit, I find the small size fits perfectly as a normal fitting T shirt (in my case instead of a medium) and its still got that little bit of extra length in the arm to give a better profile than you tend to get with the generic very shorter sleeve versions every other manufacturer churns out these days that imo just makes them look cheap.

I tend to buy a pack of 5 white t shirts in next for about £40?

im not to look fussed about brands on the front, as I’ve gone from xl to small in 11 months, so they ended up in clothes recycling.

Im down to 10 stone 5 , BMI of 16.8 also my lowest, since I was told I’m prediabetic, I’ve had to change what I eat, as I have a long term injury / permanent injury? I’ve had to change.

If I lose any more weight I think I’ll be wearing kids clothes!

Going for a brain scan today, not sure they’ll find much!

I've bought half a dozen Evertee t shirts which I really like. Longer in the body and sleeves than most, good weight cotton, very comfortable. They also give a lifetime guarantee so if you ruin it they will send you another FoC. About ten quid each, limited range of colours though.

With a piss poor body like what I have, Slazenger cheapy shirts from Sports Direct do me, in fact I might as well just wear the bag I bring them home in.

But then because of the naff looking writing or embossed logo people will think you are a chav because they will probably think it’s a knockoff. T-shirts should be plain and sans logos, words and pictures if they aren’t well worn old concert ones

Used to get Jack Wills, some have lasted me for a decade. Unfortunately, they have turned into some big-logo, cheap material crap in the past few years.

Uniqlo's cotton t-shirts are great quality for the price and they last forever.

Also rate an Abercrombie multipack. They do a 7-pack for £80 which is great value. They look good and last.

If you're happy to spend a bit more, I'd look at J. Crew. You have to drop £200 to qualify for free shipping but their stuff is quality.

Quality product made from finest material here in England - as worn by James Bond. A company that has been making t-shirts for over 100 years.  (Some might be disappointed that there is no logo to proudly display.)

I'm in that annoying area where I'm usually an L, as XL is often too baggy, but sometimes L t-shirts can be too short for me. And it's not even consistent within the same store.

I've had L ones from Primark and M&S which were too short, but others that were fine (e.g the more expensive Stronghold range from Primark).  Uniqlo Ls fit me fine.

My CAST Trust Killer shirt fitted me fine as an L.

Seriously ? Good luck with that mate
  • Gildan Heavy cotton T shirts are really good quality and you can get them in every colour. Cheap to buy on Ebay - better than Fruit of the Loom. Tu label in Sainsburys do decent tees.

I think expensive tees are a waste of money - never found them better quality.

I do prefer thick cotton t shirts...

I'll second Sunspel - absolute quality especially the mid and heavy weight offerings.

Unless they’re stitched out of pure 24 carat gold thread, they’re overpriced.
I don’t care how good they are, £95 for a tshirt is ludicrous.
