Can't see any way that there won't be more red cards in this game.

Two Wednesday players injured passing the ball in the same move. Sums up their season I guess

Well I hope the way Wednesday are playing today is a warning to our fans and the team that it is not a forgone conclusion that we can beat them. We do not score many goals ourselves.
Have to take this opposition seriously.

Talking of cards, I see that arsehole referee that we had on Tuesday showed another 9 yellows yesterday at Wrexham.
  • FT Utd 2-1 Weds...
Relegation confirmed for Weds in the worst way possible for them I should have thought..

Sums up them, same as Wednesday fans, both are shitty little clubs in a dirty old town that think they're huge, sooner both are wiped from existence the better

Sheffield United are really unlikeable. Dirty bastards and a bit of a bunch of pricks too.

Mega c**ty from the United players and fans but if the roles were reversed Wednesday would have done the same.

Can’t believe that United are celebrating like they’ve won the World Cup!  Since our match, and the two sendings off, the manager said that they were not a dirty club, but I think that (including our two) that’s five red cards. Think that sums them up completely

  • Kalvin Phillips, straight red deservedly.
    Horrible player.
I didn’t even think it was a foul - not sure how you clear the ball and simultaneously defy the laws of physics by getting your foot to stop in mid air.

You do it with less power to make sure your studs don’t get lodged in the other players thigh

5 red cards in 8 league games for United, 4 of them straight reds.

If only there was a football chant that could be aimed at football clubs from the north of England, suggesting they physically transgress on the field  ;)

Fake Yorkshiremen too, closer to bloody Nottingham than they are to York

“Less power” is not how you defend, or indeed play football.

Of course it is, not everything can be full throttle and it would be boring if it was

Part of the celebration is not just beating their biggest rivals but sending them down too. And in doing so ensured that Wednesday become the earliest club in the history of the Football League to be sent down in a season.

Sooner they’re both in the League One the better

    Bang out of order.

Would never find Charlton celebrating sending Palace down.

Sheffield United fans will probably sing a song about it for years to come.

    Very good.
But I think you know we’re talking about the players here. We celebrated in the stands like it was Christmas when we sent Palace down, but our players were professional and respectful. And rightly so.
Let’s not pretend it’s the same. It’s not.
  • Fuck em, laughed at us in our troubles glad to be rid of them

I think this is great. Same as Burnley celebrating their title at Ewood Park.

You do it without putting your studs upright, ensuring that you connect with the opponent.
He knew exactly what he was doing.
