Didn’t look out of his depth at all. Promising signs.16
-
I'm amazed he lasted 90mins and didn't even get booked.9
-
Slow start but played like Jones second half. Good first performance against a side on the up with arguably the best player in the league up against him.4
-
liked that he gets in tight then is quick enough to get back in position.6
-
Second half was absolutely immense from him. No surprise it took him a while to get into the rhythm of it but if he plays like that second half consistently we might have found a gem8
-
Wonder how the online vote for MOTM will go?32

Look great in the second half. And in the tougher away games, I like the fact in allows Ramsay to go RWB.4
-
Improved as he went on I think.

Some excellent defending and some really good passes out that actually went to one of our players!4

Struggled initially, and seemed half a yard off the pace for the first 30, but settled and grew into the game.
A decent debut, but lucky it wasn't Tuesday's ref, as he would have got two yellows in the first half!3 -
Has "all the attributes" can see why we went for him. Big, quick, strong, some ability on the ball, good in the air. Needs quite a bit of refining for sure but has the potential to be a real hero combining some of the best bits of Ramsay and Jones. Probably won't see the best of him for quite a while but in a years time I think we will love him (I already do!).8

Decent from the lad. A slowish start but soon got into his rhythm and had a very good 2nd half, plus he flattened(fairly) that annoying little shit winger Scienza which led to him being subbed off. All in all,an impressive debut.4
-
How he's getting anything less than a 7 on the marks thread, I find pretty mind boggling. Thought he done really well for his debut in what was always gonna be a difficult game.8

Imagine we will see this setup for tougher games particularly away games. But still think Clarke is our best bet at RWB.DamoNorthStand said:Look great in the second half. And in the tougher away games, I like the fact in allows Ramsay to go RWB.
Incidentally what has happened to Burke? Injured?0 -

He was the spare man today but has been injured for a couple of weekscantersaddick said:

Have we made sure he's eaten and is hydrated?10

This is brilliant. Might be a little annoying in a years time but hilarious for now. And I'm sure the squad will find it amazing.sam3110 said:Henry Irving said:Wonder how the online vote for MOTM will go?

Well that's player of the season wrapped up already, even if he doesn't play another minute.cantersaddick said:

Better luck next year Jones and Carey.11 -
Not sure how many of the people voting on the MOTM poll will have a fan IDCaptainRobbo said:

Thought he did fine on a tough debut game, don’t think he looked particularly raw, feel like that’s being used as a bit of a throwaway comment. Will improve also. Good start.6

Debut in the bear pit that is the championship, away against a recent prem team. Didn't look out of place, that's a very decent start imho.13

Burke not good enough imo, the back 3 today and Ramsay above him.cantersaddick said:

Besides the Derby and Millwall game Burkes actually been quite decent. makes a very decent squad player issue is he’s even more injury prone than injury prone players should be gives aneke a good run for his moneyDucktapeshoerepairs said:

More for me is the fact that he never stays fit for long enough for us to produce a settled back line that are comfortable with each others game. And that's what you need at this level.Ducktapeshoerepairs said:

Keep him away from the starting lineups unless we are completely depleted imo.4 -
He definitely looks like a very NJ kind of player- up for a scrap, has great physical attributes and the willingness to use them. Promising start and looks like a very good substitute/replacement for Ramsay in the RCB role.1

Lived up to the hype: great athlete, aggressive defender, bit erratic with the ball. Pretty impressed considering it was his first game. Can’t believe he didn’t get booked. Look forward to seeing him again!1
