Didn’t look out of his depth at all. Promising signs.

I'm amazed he lasted 90mins and didn't even get booked.

Slow start but played like Jones second half. Good first performance against a side on the up with arguably the best player in the league up against him.

liked that he gets in tight then is quick enough to get back in position.

Second half was absolutely immense from him. No surprise it took him a while to get into the rhythm of it but if he plays like that second half consistently we might have found a gem

Look great in the second half. And in the tougher away games, I like the fact in allows Ramsay to go RWB.

Improved as he went on I think.

Some excellent defending and some really good passes out that actually went to one of our players!

Struggled initially,  and seemed half a yard off the pace for the first 30, but settled and grew into the game.

A decent debut,  but lucky it wasn't Tuesday's ref, as he would have got two yellows in the first half!

Has "all the attributes" can see why we went for him. Big, quick, strong, some ability on the ball, good in the air. Needs quite a bit of refining for sure but has the potential to be a real hero combining some of the best bits of Ramsay and Jones. Probably won't see the best of him for quite a while but in a years time I think we will love him (I already do!).

Decent from the lad. A slowish start but soon got into his rhythm and had a very good 2nd half, plus he flattened(fairly) that annoying little shit winger Scienza which led to him being subbed off. All in all,an impressive debut.

How he's getting anything less than a 7 on the marks thread, I find pretty mind boggling. Thought he done really well for his debut in what was always gonna be a difficult game.

Imagine we will see this setup for tougher games particularly away games. But still think Clarke is our best bet at RWB.

Incidentally what has happened to Burke? Injured?

He was the spare man today but has been injured for a couple of weeks

Have we made sure he's eaten and is hydrated?

Wonder how the online vote for MOTM will go?

About as well as you'd think it would
This is brilliant. Might be a little annoying in a years time but hilarious for now. And I'm sure the squad will find it amazing.

Well that's player of the season wrapped up already, even if he doesn't play another minute.
Better luck next year Jones and Carey.

Not sure how many of the people voting on the MOTM poll will have a fan ID

Thought he did fine on a tough debut game, don’t think he looked particularly raw, feel like that’s being used as a bit of a throwaway comment. Will improve also. Good start.

Debut in the bear pit that is the championship, away against a recent prem team. Didn't look out of place, that's a very decent start imho.

Burke not good enough imo, the back 3 today and Ramsay above him.

Besides the Derby and Millwall game Burkes actually been quite decent. makes a very decent squad player issue is he’s even more injury prone than injury prone players should be gives aneke a good run for his money

More for me is the fact that he never stays fit for long enough for us to produce a settled back line that are comfortable with each others game. And that's what you need at this level.
Keep him away from the starting lineups unless we are completely depleted imo.

He definitely looks like a very NJ kind of player- up for a scrap, has great physical attributes and the willingness to use them. Promising start and looks like a very good substitute/replacement for Ramsay in the RCB role.

Lived up to the hype: great athlete, aggressive defender, bit erratic with the ball. Pretty impressed considering it was his first game.   Can’t believe he didn’t get booked. Look forward to seeing him again!
