  • Although I blubbed my way through most of episode 7 I’m starting to really worry about the final ST episode.

I discovered it just before, I think the 3rd series came out and it still blows my mind it hasnt got more traction. Ray is a solid role model, putting aside the body count he racks up. He is loyal, loves his daughter, his dog, really has a strong moral code. Doesn't grass and has a very healthy disdain for flouncing shittery

    Great guy
Yeah brilliant show. Mr Mercedes also seemed to go under the radar for many, which is now on Netflix.

For Better or Worse - part of the Walter Presents series (best foreign programmes with sub titles).
It’s Belgian and not dissimilar to the Scandi noir series.
It’s 6 episodes streaming on C4 and was excellent.
If anything it got better as it went along.
    I’d definitely recommend.
    I’d possibly give it a 9/10.

I enjoyed it. Last 25 minutes a bit twee but glad they didn’t finish on a cliffhanger.

Sometimes its not about the destination but the journey and that was how stranger things finale felt

I liked it, I've liked the whole thing. Shat my pants at least once in Eddie's season "Chriseeeee" and several times before that

Finished ST just before kick off and it’s affected me so much I don’t want to listen.
    I wasn’t disappointed.
Thank you Duffer brothers, thank you.
    I believe.

Stranger Things finale was about as good as it gets to finish a long running series like this. I wasn’t overly impressed with a lot of season 5 but this last episode pulled it out of the bag for me. It may have been soppy and on message but I soaked it up remained positive and had a tear in my eye. Spot on Duffers.

    I believe as well.

First two episodes of The Night Manager lived up to its billing.

Exceptionally good tv at its very best. A real must watch.

I enjoyed that finale of ST.

Don’t think they could’ve done much better.

…thought it was pretty average and a bit silly tbh. Watchable enough but it’s nowhere near something like Homeland.
  • Do I need to re-watch Night Manager 1st series to be able to enjoy 2nd series? I can't for the life of me remember anything about it....

I don't think so. There's a bit of a look back but more in the way of scene setting. Hugh Laurie, the evil arms dealer, isn't in S2 apart from as a cadaver.

I binged series 1 the night manager yesterday.

Meh. Annoyed me when his trousers dried quickly in the final episode and the people hiding in the back of the car. British dramas just don’t do it for me.

Just watched Ricky Gervais new show, absolutely loved it. Find him about the funniest comedian around.

I thought S1 was pretty bad despite the cast. Not sure I'll bother with S2
