Isn’t it too early to put up the Christmas tree and decorations?
I usually do mine on the first weekend in December. This year I'll probably do it Sat afternoon after the Pompey match.

    Watch this space.

Our tree is still at the 'concept stage' ... but get yourself down to the local Blue Diamond Garden Centre to pick up one of these beauties.

2 tree w*nkers in this house 🤣🙄 kids decorated them both on Saturday - sadly the bottom set of lights in the 2nd tree have given up now

Did you trim the branches at the top on purpose so you can still see out of the window?

wife got the hump last sunday - something to do with what door i brought the christmas decs in from the garage - anyway, she then watched me put the tree up and spend considerable time decorating it - then, once i'd finished, told me we are getting a new one - i took a photo ready to upload on here - new tree arrived thursday - i'm now off to birmingham and assume she will put the new tree up (i won't be doing it, thats for sure) - i will post the results up and see if her silly tiff is a waste of time and money

Wife's new tree on the left, mine (without lights switched on) on the right - was it worth it?

Tree put up yesterday with the most ineffective guard dog ever.

  • Docked a couple of marks for not moving the armchair out of the way for the photo.

That tree looks a bit like Charlton at the moment... Has tried its best, but something is clearly going wrong there!!
Always room for a tryer on the team. And for 3 quid I thought, like Charlton, punching well above its weight.
Its still young and developing, you shouldn't be too hash on it. It was brought in at short notice and has been asked to stand in a position and do a job none of us expected. A few weeks ago it was a very junior member of the estate but has shown, in certain lights, potential. Its good to see home grown talent come through the system and  challenge.

I know that 'Rate my plate' comes later, but is anyone planning on going for this?

That’s impressive but I’ll be amazed if the spuds, carrots and nips end up looking anything like the pictures.
