  • Colchester lead, Mbick almost got on the end of a shot that hit the post, yet only managed to deflect it to the man who did score.
  • 1-1 now... Good game to watch so far

Depends if he gets selected, he's not been called up by Sierra Leone for a while now

Some finish from DK. Great turn to roll the defender too.

Shrews fans will not be happy if they spot Chuks has liked that
  • Would love to see Kanu recalled, just to see what he could do at this level, with his confidence

But would equally love to see how many goals he could hit for Walsall over the course of the full season

Great to see that prolific scorer we saw at Youth level, is now starting to show it at this level

I'd keep him where he is , go and score 20+ now and see if he can fire Walsall to promotion and win the golden boot.

Hopefully the rumours of Kelman being close to a return are true, and the need to recall Daniel can be put to bed. I wouldn't be surprised if Mbick got recalled first, if we did decide to, as Jones seems to love hm, given he was the one chosen to get minutes in the Play-Off Fina.

Looks like he’s really grown in confidence - a long way from the 17/18 year old making cameos in our first team, who looked like he wasn’t quite quick, strong and aware enough to make an impact.

I did think of him as an alternative to TC/Olaofe, but he’s scoring goals and we know he presses well, he could suit that Godden/Kelman role.

Post match today he praises his finish 1 minute in and hypes him up a bit around 6 minutes.

A good strike from DK but you do wonder whether he’d be able to make that kind of space for himself at Championship level.

Especially seeing how Nathan Lowe did last year after Stoke recalled him, I’m still inclined to leave both Kanu and Mbick where they are.

If Kanu had been at Charlton he would have got max 20 mins every other game as he struggled to adjust to championship football. Better starting although would have preferred a league one loan for him, as i am sure so would he, his agent, and Jones
