As much as I say the gap is too big from League 2 to Championship, Kanu and Mbick couldn't do any worse than TC and Miles

S tkt holding son just text to ask what Pat was like.

Hope he gets plenty of chances to show what he can do there - believe they also have an injury "crisis".

They would. The lack of chances created, decent balls into the box to attack and lack of possession in the final third is the problem.

Kanu and mbick would have similar lack of service and should be allowed to develop at L2 where they are both doing very well

Yeah its the second third thats the issue ive come to the realisation.
jones would also know by now (or beginning of this season) if kanu/mbick could do better than leaburn/godden/kelman.
    Still would recall one

It's ironic that If the club lined up a random, 21 year old league 2 striker with Kanu's scoring record most of the fanbase wouldn't be able to contain themselves.

League 2 to championship is a huge jump, very rare that players can do it. Macauley Langstaff scored 42 in the national league, then 28 in league 2, then he jumped straight to the championship where he has 2 goals in 46 appearances so far

True, but Mbick’s only recently turned 19. Langstaff was in non-league at the same age and hadn’t even broken through, never mind scored goals and impressed with his all round game.

It is interesting to observe how Kanu has the football intelligence to suss out the promise of a breakaway, and be in the right place to deliver.

His football IQ is one of his biggest strengths, it’s why he’s such a brilliant presser. We saw that in the Birmingham home game last season

A gift of a backpass but he'd made the run and finished well.

That's his 10th goal for Warsaw in all competitions

part (a lot) of the problem since Kelman came off against Swansea, is the press is non-existent from Leaburn, and Dan would be ideal to fill that gap

the other bit is, we can call Kanu back and then if needs be, say Charlie is fit in January, send Dan back to Walsall for the rest of the season

He’s definitely who I’d recall if we had to recall one of them. I’m still anti the idea in general though

Can't believe he's scored 10 goals for a Polish club and also an English club this season. What a talent! But how is this allowed?

The question shouldn’t be can Kanu or Mbick make the step up to the championship the question should be would they improve our starting lineup/squad and make us a better side.
We’re in a relegation battle like it or not this is not the time to think what’s better for the individual it should be what is best for the club.
If there’s not enough money in the bank or we need to focus on the defence and we think there’s a chance Mbick or Kanu can improve our odds of survival we have to be willing to take that risk.
There is also the option to reloan them back out to the club at the end of the window so the worse that can happen is we disrupt their development for what one month.
