Showed a lot more fight in the second half... Shame we were always up against it with two soft defensive goals conceded
Some positive signs with the effort shown from the substitutes
At least we've not lost anyone to a one match ban, and those on four bookings now have to survive 10-bookings to avoid a two match ban4 -

That was brutal. First half we were shite. Second half we deserved at least two goals. However a narrow defeat and overall an improvement on the last few games.2

5 loses in a row is devastating for the psyche - we need to find a draw from somewhere and FAST.
All plans can be ripped up - all formations can be ripped up becasue what was working is no longer.
Start again - clean slate for all.
NJ needs to get a tune out of some of these players or else it'll be away days at Burton before we know it.

Plenty to take in a positive sense from that second half.
Really liked the Doc Karoy Ibby trio in the middle.5 -
Don't know why Boro players are celebrating like they just won the league, we were def in it more second half and could have deserved a draw in the end, if only we had an f'in ref may have helped...3

Fullah was the only one to get near Hackney (almost sold for 20m+ in the summer) when he came on. Beat him with the ball a couple of times too.4

Agree but I think Jones will stick with the formation and try to jam players into it. So glad for Apter to get on finally. We have been unlucky in that we have had all the top teams whilst we have so many injuries. The substitutes made a massive difference with their energy. A lot to take away from the 2nd half performance. Fullah should be starting for me4

Let’s not overreact. That wasn’t great but we’ve basically had a run of ex prem teams while we’ve had a load of injuries. We’re still in the fight and with January coming we’ve got a chance to plug a few gaps.

Karoy makes the odd catastrophic mistake, but cannot deny he has the legs for this level, tenacious and even shows vision. Needs to play.Fullah looked a handful as well.8

Badly need players back. Or to make some really crucial signings in early January who hit the ground running. And that’s just to stay up.3
