Norman has been given Squad No. 12 on the Programme tonight

Forgive my ignorance but why are the goalkeepers surnames in Green? I mean i know the answer is in the question but why is it important to distinguish them from say the strikers.

A surprising lineup. Interesting that 2 games running Doc has been rested.

Starting Carey, Knibbs and Berry seems an excess of No 10 style players, Anderson could have started in place of one of them.

Arguably our best shot at a goal in the side?

No Hernandez on the bench, done well to get injured in the last couple of days!

Yes but Doc only got 12 minutes rest on Saturday...

That lineup feels like a real gamble, but in Jones we trust.

Can’t see us getting anything from tonight in terms of points but imo the occasion is more important as long as we don’t get a proper hiding

Chopping n changing the strikers ? .. what has Olaofe done to be superceded again by Leaburn ? .. not giving a partnership time to develop
I'm surprised Knibbs is again selected in place  of the Doc
Good to see Berry is starting

This lineup looks a mess. It has 5 attacking players in a game where our best bet of a result is defence. It looks like we think we can press Middlesbrough, without Kelman our best pressing striker. If the aim is not to press than we should have two defensive mids and a wingback.
It looks like Southampton all over again.
Let's just hope Boro have an off night.

Sonny Carey, surely. He's scored five goals already. Berry scored eight in the whole of last season and at the level below.
  • Fear the table will be looking pretty scary in under 3 hours.

The 6 teams below us are all playing amongst themselves - they can't all lose!

Surprised Gilbert is starting for them. Put in a few nice corners once but hardly Championship quality?

    Going to assume its

               Kaminski
    Ramsay Jones Gillesphey
    Bree                      Campbell
         Knibbs Coventry
                Berry
                    Carey
         Leaburn

Same as Stoke swapping in and out Docherty/ Knibbs

A very attacking line-up (on paper at least). Can they score a couple because with our midfield I can see us conceding at least that many.

    CAFC 1- Boro 3

Think we will just have to bite the bullet and suffer at present, and hope the New Year brings reinforcements. By then we could be in a relegation spot, but I do not think we will eventually go down.

    Yes you’re absolutely right.

My point was more he potentially offers more than our strikers might but yea sonny is our biggest threat

Scored a great goal at the weekend against Derby (I think).

    Edit: Hull.

Middlesbrough did kindly roll over for us on beach ball day, maybe they'll do it again tonight. Hope someone in the crowd has brought a whistle..

He played well against Hull on Friday, I guess that's why.

I hope he doesn't activate the ex-player curse.

Not doing too badly at Boro, and will be a real thorn in our side tonight if we don't keep him quiet from the off...

Odd, they've been drifting gently longer - makes little sense to me that money is going on us at the moment
