Rate your Christmas Tree 2025

Right, it’s the time of year to get ready for the end of the year. I bought tree about 4/5years ago from Sainsbury’s on their death row after Christmas for about £3. It was potted and I felt sorry for it so we brought it home, repotted it and later replanted it in the garden. Yesterday I dug it up repotted and brought it inside. After Christmas it will go back outside and live another year. I know it’s not the best looking and maybe it’s a bit skinny for some but it’s the right height and width for our modest house. Also try buying a potted tree that height, a 4foot potted tree is about £70.

Shopping at Ruxley Manor, and wooden blinds at the back of the house. I’m sure you can afford a monster tree…….

If Rate my Plate is the standard setter, I am expecting great things from this thread.

That tree looks a bit like Charlton at the moment... Has tried its best, but something is clearly going wrong there!!

My wife's handy work on the other hand, and her efforts to transport us back to the 90s with the Christmas decorations this year.

    AFKA: 8 (for the journey)
FA: 8 (what are the weird things sticking out the tree near the top?)

Here's mine, it's a Christmas basil plant. I'm going for a Rancho De La Luna vibe.

When it gets taller, will you move or behead it?

Surely cut through the ceiling and let it span 2 floors.

2 tree w*nkers in this house 🤣🙄 kids decorated them both on Saturday - sadly the bottom set of lights in the 2nd tree have given up now
