Everything else aside, since the ref missed the potential penalty he’s given them a free kick every time they have fallen over…

People need to take off the blinkers where TC is concerned.
  • Hmm, good corner but Kaminski should of been stronger there
As Browny mentioned, there were 17 players in the 6 yard box as the corner came in. No way Kaminski is finding his way to the ball from his line.

Wrong sub bringing Leaburn on. Should have been Hernandez or Apter. Olaofe defending out wide has been a massive liability. He needs to come off now if we have a chance of getting back into this

Anyone would think we were losing because of TC the way you're talking

Of all what happened that First Half, and you're obsessed with a failed 2-yard pass?

It's not just Bell's injury that's caused this problem, it's the signing of Reece Burke.
Totally agree - Bell and Burke injury prone especially as cover at the back with Edwards who was also out for a few months last year as well.  We need to sign players who don’t have injury record's - stupid signings
  • hopefully this is a wake up call for jones on the not wanting loans and this small squad idea. when you boil it down its only two injuries that have derailed us as i believewe could cope with godden and kelman injured, i think the majority of teams in this division could deal with the amount of injuries we have its just that jones has made a rod for his own back.

Have we played Fullah LWB/LB before?

Feels like that is something we could’ve explored.

Would you want an inexperienced youngster exposed to the best attack in the League though?

Would probably be better having Campbell behind him, like how we finished vs. West Brom

He's certainly played there for the U21s, can only assume NJ doesn't want to give him so much defensive responsibility

Poor form = lack of confidence = poor form.  Ever decreasing circles. I guess this is where coaches / managers earn their corn. I feel confident Jones can do it, but fuck me he’s got his work cut out in the next few weeks.

Almost 80% possession to Cov….we are like a non league team playing a premier league team in the cup

Fucking Campbells distribution is fucking awful, please coach him to pass!!
Yes thats it... Complain about TC's inability to pass, rather than the pass that should have found him sooner

But he's an Academy player, so we have to criticise him more, than we would an outsider
Personally I think academy players get cut more slack than many signings

Don’t be so ridiculous it’s a major issue with him and always has been, he can never pick the pass let alone actually do it.
It would be 2-0 without TC on the pitch...

If Carey had passed to TC sooner, there was a good chance that TC was getting in behind the Coventry backline... Instead he's forced to check because he was offside - Carey was someone we signed, so why isnt he getting pelters for missing the opportunity?
    But we are losing??
    Well spotted Sherlock

Yet if Campbell wasn't on the pitch, we wouldn't have gone 0-1 up - Or I suspect you'd think that someone else would have magically had been in the same spot, to find the ball through to Knibbs even if it was a bit lucky

You're just desperate to whinge about Campbell when he's had a decent half
And you are desperate to suck him off, because he’s done one thing in god knows how long ok.

You are right. May have been worth the risk to allow us to keep shape - also offsets Macca’s lack of pace and allows Kayne to play his position.

Wouldn’t mind seeing it against a lesser side.

Leaburn on is an actual disgrace of a decision, why wasn't the new lad who the official site made sure to mention was available for this game on the bench? Didn't expect anything from this game but Christ, awful decision.

Since Bell went off we've lost shape and discipline.   Great end to end game and pretty even until that point

Sadly TC has been horrendous going forward or defending.   No composure with the ball.  Aimless clearances.

    We need Edwards back sharpish.

Remind me how many goals and chances TC puts away, how can you predict he would have scored?
Who says he would have scored, and not gotten an assist...? - Given he's got four of those now and is top of that "table" for us - Terrible stat for someone with an "inability to pass" as you put it
    Are you his dad?

Agreed, we can't really complain about bad luck with injuries because we've signed players who have poor injury records, what was seriously the point in signing Burke.
    This with bells on

C’mon lads let’s stop fighting between ourselves, we all want the same thing after all. 45 big minutes coming up, we are still in this, COYA.

Leaburn kills our press every time. I always point this out and Chunes always drops the 'possession won in final third stat' but that's just his telescopic leg. He's useless at the actual pressing bit

What is it with the moronic Kaminski bashing? - he had no chance with both goals.

I think we did it to throw Coventry off our line up
  • Really sweet video on Charlton tv just then.

Better than that John Lewis advert.

Yep, he lumbers around up front, he’s a big unit and not suitable to our pressing game in my opinion.

Poor squad management from Jones and his team, not to have left sided defender is so tactically wrong, knowing Bells injury issues!
