Don’t think much of the home support.11 -
Very best of luck to those travelling, enjoy your day, 🤞we get a performance from the boys today, coya!2

And the striking option limited to just Leaburn, who has scored just once thus season. Hardly awe inspiring if you need a player off the bench to get you a goal.Talal said:That's the least defensive cover I think I've seen on a 9 man bench.
But what can we do. Muddle through until the injuries clear up & the transfer window opens3 -
All the hype of signing Jerome falls flat on it's face, what was the point of getting him signed up in time for today, to just leave him in the stands...I mean weird.6

Plan for the worst and anything less is a bonus.
Think we'll scrape a draw or nick this one personally.0 -
There isn't a single midfield combination we could put out that I'd feel confident about, Knibbs really needs to step up1
-
I think Knibbs deserved a start, of all the players on the fringe, he's probably the only one who has given Nathan something to consider when selected, Olaofe needs to do something similar. That said, couldn't have picked a tougher game to make an impression in.4

Is there anyway we can still get out of playing this?10
-
Must be mad, but I've backed 1-0 charlton and 1-0 lloyd Jones fgs. This is exactly thr type of game that we win out of nowhere0

Like you, I just think Campbell has been run into the ground and the lad is knackered.CaptainBeefheart said:like the look of that mainly because bell is back and doc gets a rest. wouldve rested campbell looks shot of confidence at the moment and has been basically playing without any breaks for monts with international duty, looked terrified to even take on his man against stoke and whether these are the instructions hes been given or not its really his main attribute.
You can never fault his effort and commitment as he gives 100% commitment, puts in the hard yards and sacrifices much of his natural wingplay for NJ's gameplan.
After a long and late-finishing season and away with Jamaica during the summer, he's barely had any close season - plus international breaks with all the trans-Atlantic travelling and playing for our 1st team on his return a day or 2 later.
Be careful NJ, look after him. Don't let Campbell burn out.4 -
Almost time to come home ☹️

You buggers have let me down over the last couple of matches, try and do a better job today please ...Back at The Valley for the Back To The Valley match next week 😀3 -
Stoke currently losing at home to Hull. Kind of makes Tuesday night a real crap result, albeit with a lot of defenders out.0

As terrible as we were I really don’t think they were that good and I wish we could have gotten a result out of it.ken_shabby said:Stoke currently losing at home to Hull. Kind of makes Tuesday night a real crap result, albeit with a lot of defenders out.1 -
If we get stuffed today and then massacre Pompey you're never going to be allowed to go on holiday during the season againBriston_Addick said:Almost time to come home ☹️

Well that Sprint race in the Formula One was as dull as dishwater... Would compare it to a 0-0 in a game of Football, so it Coventry vs Charlton can replicate that, I'll be rather happy.1

A bit of bulls shit from Nathan Jones.eastterrace6168 said:All the hype of signing Jerome falls flat on it's face, what was the point of getting him signed up in time for today, to just leave him in the stands...I mean weird.0 -
