Well, here's Apter's chance to put himself about and offer something creative in an attacking role. Hope he throws himself about the place and shows what he can do

I think we can expect the same again on Saturday and then regroup and take it from there

In short, I think injuries happened. 

In longer, I think our borderline lack of pace and lack of fluidity in possession has been shown up. That's not to say I think we're rubbish, it's just to say that a Jones team tends to win and lose and fine margins, he prides himself on that. And when you lose a left side to injuries you lose some of your margins. Combine that with a fluke cross going in and a fluke goalkeeping error and you have 3-0 instead of maybe 1-0. 

Brownie put it well that we've played two sides in the last 4 days who are quick, technical, but intelligent footballing-wise. And with our little deficits and lopsided formation, we've been found out.

I think Bell starts Saturday afternoon. I think that will be a huge help. It sounds like Kelman is close. I think those players make big differences to our squad. I think you will see Carey back in the 10, two up front in TC plus Leaburn probably, and I think we'll start to look more like the shape of the side that started the season. We still won't be right until Edwards is back and we can play Bell at LCB, but we're definitely better with a proper left side.

Not my fault if you buggers can't look after the place when I'm out for a fortnight!

If Tanto has injured himself making that challenge when we have no subs left it’s the most Charlton thing that could happen 

JRc manages to intercept but rushes his pass, but the Stoke ball is wayward too and we have a throw.

Olaofe barely running at this point. The immediate reaction is we need a "Supa Dupa" set of deals in January.
