How is that a foul !? This ref has decided to give himself an easy night

The difference between post-millwall-sending-off Ramsey and what he was like beforehand is crazy. I'd basically just accepted he was leaving in January, but now I'm not convinced he'll be in our starting XI by then.

Love how quickly everyone has turned. These boys have plenty of credit in bank
Unfortunately credit in the bank does not magically make Gillesphey good enough for the championship.
I’m referring more to people calling the whole squad useless, talks of bottom 3 by Christmas & Jones out
Oh yeah I'm completely with you there. Tough run of games while we're stretched with injuries, there's nothing more to it than that imo
  • This ref is unbelievable
  • Doc penalised , looked like a fair tackle to me
  • VFR still ringing out...
  • Not only are we struggling but my stream is cutting out all the time. I've now been staring at a freeze frame of Coventry's arm for the last 15 seconds. Oh no here we go, somehow it's stokes throw.

I expect it from Tel, but even Brownie is baffled with some of the referee's decisions

To me, Lloyd Jones looks panicky—possibly because Macca is beside him. Our lack of pace in the middle is really hurting us, and I’m not sure what the solution is. We just have to reach January with minimal damage.

We lose the ball in midfield, they come down the left, ball whizzes across the box but evades everyone, back in but we eventually get it clear.

I am stunned he didn’t give them a penalty there given everything else so far

Looked like a pen to me. This is an utter embarrassment. Arguably the worst 2 defensive performances I’ve seen from a Charlton side.

We've been figured out. We're getting cut through so easily.

Stoke down our left, Carey's racing back to try to cover, chaos in the 6 yard box, they shout for a pen but eventually we get given a free kick.
  • We look every bit like a league one side at the moment

    This is painful

I hate to have a go at officials but this Ref appears to be a "homersexual"

    This ref is unbelievable
They just get worse week on week. This fella is a homer. Ridiculous decisions. If those 2 challenges were 'fouls' then how about the challenge on Jones before the 2nd goal? No consistency at all.

The mistake in the summer was obvious at the time, not enough cover on the left.  Edwards who got injured for a period last season, Gillesphey who was never Championship good enough and Bell who is injury prone.

It was madness going into the season with just those 3.  We have a small budget but that is why teams at our level / budget rely on loans to add the additional quality/experience.  It's what we should have done.

What was Sporting Director, Simon Lenegan doing?

Anyway, fingers crossed we get Bell, Burke and Edwards back soonish and can add in January, and that in the meantime time we find a way to tighten up.

These players (and our manager) are all individuals who give everything to the cause, we need to stick with them as it's not lack of effort.
