  • I just can't see us playing a back four with a Jones and Gillesphy centre back pairing, its way too slow for the championship they will be torn about by players like thomas and mubama

Does Charlton Live fall for the VPN if I want to watch this for £10 or shall I just do a 24 hour one with Now TV for £15 for the sake of a fiver?
Charlton TV is basically designed for you to buy a VPN and "go abroad", that's why it's sponsored by Nord
Assumed so. Just turned my VPN on and it lets me buy the game.
  • Not the match we need right now, real tough one. Too many injuries compared to their one. We will try and frustrate, stay in the game and hit them with a set piece. I am not sure we can do that with the current walking wounded. 3-0 to Stoke.

I'd be happy with no more injuries and no red cards. Anything else is a bonus.

I’d still start Apter on Tuesday. But I’d change shape. I am not sure Jones will be fit because he could barely walk by the end on Saturday. But if he is. Would go a sort of 4 - 4 - 2

    Would have

    Kaminski

    Bree Jones Gillesphey Ramsay

    Apter Coventry Carey Fullah

    Leaburn Oloafe

This will leave TC and Knibbs to make an impact off the bench if needed

Not sure how many more chances Leaburn and TC should get at the moment. Would like to see Tanto start.

Bree back (hopefully fitter than Wrexham) will be a noticeable improvement from Saturday for starters. Hopefully a gritty point

Tanto has 63 career goals, TC has 15. Surely this should be a factor in who plays as a striker.
Surely just the fact one is a striker and one isn’t is a factor

Do not play Hernandez, he is simply not good enough.
It’s the scenario of a player being written off too soon, especially when he’s being asked to do a job rather than play him at his strengths, he may end up not cutting it, but the fella needs a fair crack to be able to judge properly.

Think after this week we will be in a position where we are more likely to finish around 15/16th … was told that Godden suffered a set back that’s why he was not on the bench Saturday problem with muscle intensity..

changes have to made after some performances on Saturday ..Kaminski back three Ramsey Jones ( another one doubtful tonight ) Gilly .. wingbacks Bree and Fullah got to play a left sided player at left wing back midfield three pick themselves althrough Carey after Saturday count himself lucky .. up top Arter and Tanto …. Going to be close Stoke don’t score many so I am going for a 2-1 defeat

    The bookies ?
    TC anytime 18/5
    Godden 16/5

Not the value I was hoping for but got to be done.

None of our strikers have looked particularly good. Probably not their fault.

Tomer Hemed had scored over 100-goals before joining us...?
Slight difference as we got him at the end of his career.

Those odds are miserly, I'd be looking for 16/5 for anyone at all to score a goal for us tonight!

Staying in Nottingham tonight for work. If tickets were available I might have considered the cold night in Stoke!

It would be Charlton to pinch a result tonight but I cant see it. Aslong as we dont capitulate like Saturday and at least make Stoke work for it then I can accept that and build from there.

January does need another CB IMO.

Who’s the LB/LWB for the U21’s they may not be ready but they can’t put in any worse of a performance than other players that are getting shoehorned there.
Enslin. He's 20 so no kid, has some pace and has played LCB and further forward. He is a leftie unlike TC and Hernandez.

Kai Enslin was once again our standout performer. Covers every inch of the pitch.

Stamina, speed and versatility. A natural at LWB. I thought he would be challenging for a first team place by November, but a minor injury and the fact that Edwards and Bell were doing well and we were picking up points without him have held him back. Surely now is the time to give him a chance. It won't be today, because he played a full game this afternoon, but maybe on Saturday?

If Enslin is not in 1st squad, Edwards or Bell must be fit, because NJs policy of playing right footed wingers at LWB has patently not worked.

Really .. think it proving how much we miss Kelman his movement creates openings for others like Carey to break through … there a reason our strikers have struggled .. no service your main winger has created 1 assist

I'm always suspicious when players are praised for anything other than their own direct impact. Things like "he makes space for others" or "he organises people at free-kicks" might be valid, but are the lowest form of praise anyone could give a player. If they are genuinely playing well, we don't need to search that deep.
