Does JJ (Jacko) have a middle name?

I suppose he should be JLJ - Johnnie Legshavegone Jackson.

Nah, he's just JJ, not to be confused with the other JJ.

Is JRC any relation to JFC?
Thank goodness Jamal Campbell-Ryce isn’t still at the club.
How did I miss him from the list? We’ve had:

    JCR
    JFH
    JFC
    JRS
    JRC

    And missed out on JCH.

That has to be all of them?

Add another JFC to that list…👍

Christ, this is like an episode of Line of Duty

Very good but forget the bent coppers, I want the newbies to be able to play 'between the lines'.

Asked a Blackburn fan in our work Manchester office about JRC he said he was absolutely brilliant at wing-back, decent but not as good in midfield, but the guy at work thinks he wants to play midfield.

So I'm hoping he's wrong about the last bit and we play JRC at wing back.

Could this be the weekend we see him at RWB?

Having amassed over 120 Championship appearances, I hope he will prove his worth.

I hope it's Rob Apter . If not i'll start to think that he's shat in the Gaffers cornflakes at some stage.

You can be very coarse sometimes.

I doubt it will be Apter because it will probably be TC or Hernandez on the left so Jones will want to balance that with a defensive option on the right. Hopefully Burke is back and then we can have Ramsay there, but if not then it’s got to be Costello

Macaulay Bonne has played 75 times in the Championship ....
so however many times JRC has played doesn't to me make him any good and a pick.
I'm guessing with the tired legs and injuries in our team the reason he hasn't been picked is cos he's looked pony to the gaffer since he's arrived , hence the lack of him being used

What is JRC's position on the field I mean?

So…..it really is looking like it might be D-Day for Mr Costello, at least as far as the boss is concerned.🤞🤞🤞

Thought he looked ok today for a player who has barely played a minute for us, will he start on Tuesday night?

He looks like he’s wearing boots from the 1950’s . I think it’s the black tape around his ankles .

Defensively he was good and he did a great man marking job on their no13. On the ball he couldn’t pick a pass and looked like he’d never met the rest of the squad. It was bizarre

And he was really struggling with 10-15 to go. I suppose he’s not match fit but had only been on for an hour.

Di Canio looked like that but was ever so slightly better.

Probably not as suspect that Bree will be available again

Thought he was poor and showed why he’s not got much game time.
  • Added some stability when he came on but generally wasn’t a great performance and haven’t been convinced all the other times I’ve seen him. Not sure if the 4 year deal was very good for us.

Bit difficult/unfair to judge since he appeared to play in 3 or 4 different positions in the short time he was playing.

And didn’t do great in any of them, expected more from him this season considering he was signed for champ experience.

He arrived when Soton took their foot of the accelerator.
He was pony but didn’t look out of place in our team today ,his passing was unbelievably bad

He did help shore things up but his passing was terrible and generally seemed very casual in his play (have to admit, this really irritated me at the time!). Doesn't seem like the solution but a better option at right wing back than Apter.

Only shored it to a point by naturally sitting deeper than Apter was willing to drop. His general play was slow and pretty awful to be honest. Then getting cramp after 70mins wasn’t the best look.

The tireder he got the worst he got but what I did like about him was he was trying to force something to happen. He looked to switch play, put balls in-between the lines and play difficult passes that would open up the defence. The thing I hated most yesterday is that we didn't come out second half swarming them and trying to at least make the first 45 less embarrassing, it was all very pedestrian except for him actually having some ideas. Willing isn't anywhere as useful as actually being able to do what you try but if he manages to get a run of a few games together I think he could be a useful player.

Think it’s hard to judge him when he’s coming into that type of game when every player is playing awfully and we’re being battered.
