    JONES: 5 whole defence was exposed by an absent midfield. We're in trouble if he's injured

    CAREY: 4 the only midfielder showing any attempt at creating anything but seemed way off the pace

    COVENTRY: 4 missing in the first half. Ok second bit damage was done

    DOCHERTY: 3 chasing shadows all game. Thought the international break might help him recharge. Doc and Cov just nowhere to be seen as Saints carved us open time and again. Seemed to commit too far forward, leaving huge gaps
