Lenny Glover at Bromley Addicks on 20 November

The legend that is Lenny Glover, a star of the 60s team who was much loved by fans, will be the guest of Bromley Addicks on Thursday 20 November.

Anyone who heard Len speak at the Hall of Fame Induction or who has read his book "From Left Wing to D Wing" will know he is an old school character full of stories from on and off the pitch.

The Q & A starts at 7.30pm but the bar is open before then.

Usual venue: the Royal British Legion Club in Queensway, Petts Wood.

All Addicks welcome and it is free although think about bringing some cash for the whip round to pay for the hall.

    I have just spoken to Lennie, he's really looking forward to it, as Henry says, he's got some great stories, I will try and jog his memory on the way up.

    Would love to have come to this. A bit difficult from California. I loved Lenny. Some character.

    I had no idea Lenny was a bit of a character.
    To me as an impressionable teenager he was just the fastest dribbler of the ball I'd ever seen.

    Good night and good stories as you'd expect from Frank Worthington's wing man.

    The club apologised for the noise from the band downstairs which was a distraction for the 45 people there but didn't spoil the evening.

    Still negotiating on January's meeting.

    Lennie is coming up for Saturdays game against Southampton, so he will be in Bartrams before the game, as he has promised to buy me a Peroni top, if the pumps are working.
