    McClaren out
At least it gives someone else a chance to be a play-off hero for them.

Strange appointment in the first place but whoever comes in has very little time to stamp their mark on them.  Playoffs will be fun in March

Play all the cafc lads and build the team around them. Qualification will take care of itself.

A f***ing disgrace Jamaica did not qualify against that level of opposition. I suspect McClaren bears a lot of the blame.

At least Campbell, Anderson and Dixon are young enough to have another try in four years time. Bell sadly not.

I don't suppose Charlton F C are too sad about it.

Considering we get paid by FIFA if our players go to the World Cup I imagine that yes, they, the money men at least, are a bit sad.

And they can still qualify via the play-offs.

Realistically they’re not beating DR Congo

Jamaica always underperforms in Concacaf even though historically they have had one  of the better rosters on paper in the confederation.  They should be better than the likes of Panama, Honduras and Trinidad and Tobago but they always end up being behind them in the end.  Too much tiki taka possession play with no cutting edge or end product. Add the fact that they hired McClaren who played a number of aging past their prime players,  it is no wonder they struggled. Only chance against Congo is to play very defensively and hope their opponent makes a mistake leading to a goal.
