Looks like he had an impressive debut from the bench. Getting better and better is Connor.

Really pleased for Cov, made his debut in a massively important game for ROI. A small part in probably their biggest international win for some years. Hopefully he has cemented his place in the squad now and can look towards fighting for a starting spot.  He follows some great players of the past to play for CAFC and ROI.  Glad a wider audience have had a chance to see what we have been watching for the last year or so.

  • Conor never got to play against Ronaldo; he was already in the bath.

Yeah that’s a huge shame for Conor, would’ve been a great story to tell the kids

He can say Ronaldo got himself sent off because he was afraid of facing Conor.

Nathan made me laugh the other week with his quote: "You wouldn't know it by his accent, but Conor is a proud Irishman"

Well Conor didn't make it onto the pitch for the Hungary match, but a 96th minute winner from Troy Parrott means that the Republic of Ireland make it through to the play-offs, and he's in some of the post match scenes photos
