Filmed in Mottingham/Grove Park area (near the Dutch House Pub) in April, very moving story (aren't they all) with a Charlton connection.

For those who know me, you may see me and a few of my work team getting our hands dirty.

    I’ll keep em peeled mate.

But loads of my lot did one in Temple Hill a few years back. The edit ain’t kind. I think you saw one of their backs.

My firm did a Sarah Beeny one years back. They promised all sorts for some free work and delivered nothing.

Absolute tragic story. Good to see people pull together and give a family a chance of some normality.
  • That was very moving.

Was at a 21st party a weekend back with the 2nd eldest boy featured in this. My mates son done some plastering with a variety of other kids  (tradesmen) on this episode. They are are really nice bunch of kids and tbh restored my faith in today’s youth

    A lovely inspirational family.
    Promote deserved here please mods.
Can I ask what your involvement was in the build and how long the whole thing took from start to finish?
    Thanks.

The company I work for supplied some of the materials, and me and a few of my sales rep team (a couple of them were on camera at the end) were merely labourers for a day. A small part but we all walked away with a very humbling but extremely proud feeling to give something back, even in a small way.
I was talking to Samuel, the eldest son after the filming about the Valley SE7 sign that was in the house and he said his mum was a regular and has been a few times, as Joe Marler put it, he was such an inspiring and in incredible person to have take on all that responsibility at his age, his siblings are very lucky to have him.
