    Number 1 by a long way is Say hello, wave goodbye. Absolutely love that song, it's just seems so British in it's lyrics and sound.

    Say Hello, Wave Goodbye.... such bitterness and venom in the lyrics and the voice.

    But I guess we are here to celebrate the memory of David Ball. He who went on to for The Grid amongst other bands. Maybe not an all time great but he did give us some memorable songs!

    Completely agree with regards the PSB. Mate of mine wanted to come and see them with me and was a bit miffed when I replied that I wouldn't watch the PSB for free, much less paying.

    However, if you liked Soft Cell, how come you could only name a top three when the OP clearly said 5 😀

    Because I like them but a top 5 I struggle with. Didn’t want to add two songs of theirs that I can take or leave.
