I think that is beyond the realms of possibility. Southampton will want to sell him in January, otherwise they get nothingfenaddick said:Don’t think it’s beyond the realms of possibility he sees out the second half of the season on the south coast and then joins us in the summer. Would mean recalling Asiimwe which would be a shame for him and Jacko0 -
Hopefully this has been a try before you buy scenario, as we didn’t want commit too soon.(injuries etc.?)NabySarr said:

I think they’ll spend the window trying to find a RB (they’ve looked weak there, although partly due to injury) and won’t let him go until they do. Then when they fail he gets stuck there for 6 months. Maybe I’m too pessimistic but I don’t think that’s impossibleNabySarr said:

They’ll also quite possibly have a new manager who rates Bree0
-
That’s more possible, but if that happens he will sign a new contract there. Financially we can’t compete with themfenaddick said:They’ll also quite possibly have a new manager who rates Bree
Most likely scenario is he leaves permanently in January. Our problem will be that he’s doing so well which will mean there will probably be other championship interest that might offer him more money1 -
It's tough to see how Apter gets back into the side without an injury to Bree. The thing about Bree is, even if he's not playing well, his set pieces are a massive asset, so it's very hard to leave him out.3

He has a great chance on 22nd November to make himself hard to drop but that’s a long way awayChunes said:It's tough to see how Apter gets back into the side without an injury to Bree. I'm not sure he will get a chance on 22/11 when we play Southampton to make himself undroppable.fenaddick said:

Surely Southampton won't allow him to line up for us when we play them?0 -
I was saying that’s a game Apter has to make himself undroppable because Bree can’t playFortune 82nd Minute said:

Best FB/WB in the league according to these stats. Presumably would have to keep scoring and assisting as he has all season to stay there though.

I don't think he cares about the money that much, he wants to play for Jones, and I'm sure he'd gladly take a small reduction to play under him again, as long as we're not offering absolute peanutsNabySarr said:

Interesting this. Bree the obvious standout. Ramsay in the "defence only" box which makes sense as he's playing on the back 3. Edwards and Small both in the "sometimes good" section and quite close together. Apter not on there as people haven't worked out he's played as a WB.Scoham said:Best FB/WB in the league according to these stats. I don't know how accurate capology is, but I am hoping not very based on some of our players alleged salaries..sam3110 said:

Capology had our budget below Cambridge's last year and underestimated Louie Barry's salary by 5 figures so feel free to ignore0

Based on capology we have the lowest championship wage bill on 175k a week, Portsmouth in 23rd on 184k a week and Wednesday in 22nd on 211k a week and Oxford apparently having a higher wage bill than Coventry Bristol City and QPR wouldn’t read into it
