Thought he was off the charts good tonight. He's a bit better on the ball than he gets credit for, but in game like that where we have minimal possession he really comes into his own. His reading of the game and positioning to plug gaps and make blocks/interceptions is exceptionally good.

I think he must have read the match thread at half time

  • I am a fan of his - I think he is far more important to this team than many people give him credit for.
So much of his impact can’t be measured in heat maps or raw stats.

His best games this season have been against Leicester, Sheffield United and last night against Ipswich. He’s so well suited to those games against the bigger budget teams

His worst game this season was against Watford and I was concerned. Since then he is a Lloyd Jones/Coventry in terms of first names on the team sheet.

He’s fucking class and looks better in this division than League One.

He isn’t the most talented player I’ve watched for Charlton but neither was Johnnie Jackson … Doc “gets it” just like JJ did.

Look at this video at 10:50 after Wembley. https://youtu.be/dlh-AQmkWz8?si=QvaBQuEydv9TwbYa

“That’s for you! That for youuuuu! ” the bloke …. gets it 👍
