  • It must be very difficult for new players coming to a club,be they seasoned pros or 16 year olds  just at the start of their careers. All these players may need someone to turn to,someone they can have  a private chat to if they have personal problems.Tracy was that person and people like her are few and far between, these are going to be big shoes to fill.
    Ain't that the truth !

Removed as mistakenly read this comment as more about the role than the individual.

Hes an Addicks too- i also spied that he has recently left that role at Burnley 👀
Would love him here, hes a great bloke and used to talk to him at The Valley when he used to come to games (albeit talking 14 years ago or so!)

Is Tracey working for England? According to my wife her insta says she is in Qatar where the U17’s are currently playing.

If so, and of course she could be there for any number of reasons, then not only is that a move none of us should begrudge her, but also a fantastic non footballing person to be around young men full of potential and maybe needing some guidance in life off the pitch

Jack is a great guy, and has Charlton running through his veins!
Have known him, albeit not seen/spoken for some time, for a long time and have tried to keep up with his career- he’s been in pastoral care and football player care for what must be over 10 years now - and has worked with all ages from academy to men’s first team -now  likely taken a ‘step down’ coming back home to SE London!

Great to have him ‘home’ and definitely someone who will take on a different role to Tracey; going from Mum of the group to Older Brother somewhat- but definitely what hopefully is a long term approach and appointment!

    Welcome back Jack

Not very smiley for a man with a new job at the club he supports. I hope there's someone in place to look after his welfare. ;)
