    we got the news that the cancer has shrunk and ordinarily it would be a case of scans in a year and we will see what is going on, but there are some fuzzy areas which they are 95% sure are tenderness from the treatments but could be residual cells. 

    so scans again in Jan and then a meeting to discuss. 

    A lovely early Christmas present, onwards and upwards for you all, particularly your mum.

    4th feb next appt with doctor so taking my mum out to lanzarote for a week on 8th Nov, aunt and uncle have a place in puerto calero so will be some nice downtime and forget about all the shit for a week or so.

    I'm not sure if I should post this but I'm going to & if admin want to remove it than I understand.
    Mick Everett has posted on X today that he has stomach cancer. Has to have part of his stomach removed & chemo.
    Can we do our usual? Send as much love to him to know he's not going through it alone? @Henry Irving should we address cards to the club or do you have an address we could send them to?
    I really want to do something 🙏

    Oh no ! That's devastating news ! He's such a lovely man & would do anything for our football club .

    We need to send him as much love & positvity that we can muster .Bless his heart...

    I'm afraid I'm not in a position to get things moving this time as we have a house move imminent & other "stuff" going on as well. 

    I'm sure someone else will take up the baton this time though.

    Probably best to address the cards to the club as I don't think I can give out Mick's address.

    He did post something on twitter but then deleted it.

    He is getting very good advice from McMillan nurses, he tells me, which I'm sure is the case.
