    Perfect scenario really, he gets the recognition he deserves with a call up, but he doesn't get injured or tired because he doesn't play and therefore we aren't hindered

    Was not at his best in the first half (not that anyone else was) but probably his best Championship performance to date in the second.

    It's good to see him playing some incisive passes on Saturday. I don't think it's unfair to say that he could have benefited from improvement in that area. But Dobson improved a lot during his time with us, and no reason Coventry can't. Hopefully, Saturday is a sign.

    I wouldn't swap but Dobson is a fine player. I think they are close but Coventry has a higher ceiling. The republic of Ireland must have a fine side if he isn't in it. Oh wait a minute, they are shite! He should be getting games for them.

    Dobson vs Docherty is a harder call. Again I'd stick with Doch, but Dobson (who is a far more technical player) could grow into that sort of leader figure

    Ireland's strength, insofar as they have strength, is unfortunately in Coventry's exact position

    Doch looked a bit behind the pace but has now found his form and is intrisic to our team. Anderson is a great prospect and can't even get on the bench. Our strength in depth is underated. A player as good as Apter can't get in the side. I could go on.

    In the last game, had Ireland been winning by more than one game, I think it would have got some minutes. The dentist wasn’t prepared to gamble on him with the game being so close.

    Dobson is a great player who as I suspected has adapted well to life in league one.

    Personally think he is at least as good as the Doc , but feel Coventry will offer more in time. Always a minor legend in my book, who carried a shit team, time after time. The booing of him last year still wrankles.

    I haven't watched Dobson this season, but stats-wise, he seems to be doing very well in the Champ.

    I said beginning of the season i would prefer to Doc, although i do think Doc has picked up of late and is holding his own, Dobson is more the complete player for me. I agree Coventry is so under-rated, he is class and will be one of the first names on the sheet.
