Will be interesting to see how many of our Jamaicans start against Sheffield Weds. Doubt they will be back in the UK before Thursday afternoon.0

On my app it doesn’t mention Bell in the squad at all - did he travel? I saw the club announced he was called up.0

Definitely out there

TC and Amari’i Bell both started but Curacao are 1-0 up2
-
TC is playing on the right again and is Jamaica's main attacking outlet2
-
Bell just played a sublime through ball to put the Jamaican striker Russel 1v1 with the keeper with a large amount of the goal to aim at but the finish was scuffed1
-
HT, I missed the goal but TC and Bell are performing better than the rest of the team. Richard King looks great and it's a shame he went to Scotland as he would have been a fun, low risk punt. The Jamaican midfield is pretty non-existent so hopefully Anderson can get some minutes in there.
Anyway, I'm off to bed. Hoping to wake up to a TC goal and some Dixon flair1 -
HT 1-0 Curacao
TC been Jamaica’s best player according to the scores apps with Amari’i Bell a close second.3 -
2-0 Curacao1

TC's gone off now, Dixon and Anderson have come on, but Jamaica still wasting chances. They're looking a bit more solid in midfield with Anderson on, but he's just headed wide from a corner.1
-
Looked liked it was 2-1 from Richard King, Dixon with the assist, but disallowed after VAR review because Karoy was offside in the build up.1
-
2-1. And an assist for Kaheim Dixon.2
-
Ruled out by VAR three minutes later because Karoy Anderson was standing in an offside position and debatably impacted the defender’s ability to block the shotCallumcafc said:2-1. And an assist for Kaheim Dixon.2 -
Final score 2-0, so Curacao go top of the group.1
-
Jamaica still control their qualification but will have to beat Curacao at home and equal their results against Bermuda and Trinidad.2

I thought Curacao was a drink not country ?4

Was part of the Dutch Antilles until it was split into three different entities.Bedsaddick said:I thought Curacao was a drink not country ?0 -

It’s where the drink is from. Aptly feeling a bit blue for the Raggae Boys this morning. Really want them to qualify and us have 4 players at next year’s WC which would surely be a first? Though Prem years may have delivered same or more if the Scandi teams and South Africa all qualified?Bedsaddick said:I thought Curacao was a drink not country ?2 -
Karoy is incredible at finding space to pop up for a header on goal, and even better at then fluffing that headeraliwibble said:TC's gone off now, Dixon and Anderson have come on, but Jamaica still wasting chances. This guys Substack is well worth keeping tabs on for Jamaica games, he does paragraphs on each player too
Amari’i Bell - Every time someone tried to dribble past Bell, he stopped them… nonchalantly. It was quite funny at times. But like King, the defence looked sloppy as a unit, so Bell has to take fault for that too - even if he was alright for the most part.
Tyreece Campbell - The best player for Jamaica on the pitch by a mile. Majority of what we created going forward came through him and he came close to scoring a number of times. Also delivered a great pass to Nicholson, which Shamar should have scored. If there is any player that can leave this game with their head held high it is Tyreece Campbell. Here is a proposal. When Leon Bailey is back, put Cephas on the bench and put Campbell over there.
Kaheim Dixon - Should’ve had an assist but VAR didn’t think we deserved happiness.Karoy Anderson - I had already accepted that we were going to lose by the time Karoy came on, and that's exactly what we did. He played alright though.

TC got the highest rating for Jamaica so he must have done something right.2

Disappointing result. If Curacao were to qualify for the WC they would certainly be the smallest country to do so.
Jamaica have to beat them in the return fixture.
Watched a bit of the game - some terrible finishing.3 -
I'll admit I do not keep tabs on other region's qualifiers, but should Jamaica, with the number of players they have in the EFL, not be beating sides like Curacao comfortably?

Relatively speaking, Curacao aren’t that bad and only 15 places behind Jamaica in the current world rankings (69 vs 84).Croydon said:I'll admit I do not keep tabs on other region's qualifiers, but should Jamaica, with the number of players they have in the EFL, not be beating sides like Curacao comfortably?
Jamaica ranked 7th best team in CONCACAF and Curacao 8th.4 -
There not due back at the training ground till Friday that if there no delays etc .. don’t think any should be starting on Saturday .. when we have a big squad nowLargeAddick said:Will be interesting to see how many of our Jamaicans start against Sheffield Weds. Curacao have a lot of players who have played or currently play in the Dutch system and are well coached. I think a large part of the problem for Jamaica is Steve MclarenCroydon said:I'll admit I do not keep tabs on other region's qualifiers, but should Jamaica, with the number of players they have in the EFL, not be beating sides like Curacao comfortably?5 -

I assume they must have a lot of Dutch players with Curacao ancestry, as it's a tiny island.fenaddick said:
